The first time I used this mist I thought it was broken, given that my eyes were closed and I didn't feel a single thing hitting my face.
So to double check, I applied it to my arm – keeping my eyes open – and it turns out, it's just so lightweight you won't notice it at all.
In fact it's so good that we've just crowned it the winner of Best Face Sunscreen in this year's Fabulous Beauty Awards.

Naked Sundays SPF50+ Hydrating Glow Mist doesn't feel wet or sticky on
Full transparency, I didn't think I'd like this, given the name.
I usually run from anything labelled glowy as I have extremely oily skin, so I prefer products that help reduce shine rather than add to it.
As expected, it does leave skin incredibly glowy – yet like magic, it doesn't feel wet or sticky on. In fact, it dries surprisingly fast, almost like a setting spray.
I love that it's a non-aerosol mist, as they are easier to pack and better for the planet.
But I do find it means the spray can be inconsistent and sometimes feel a little too wet, so make sure you shake it well before using.

Supergoop! (Re)setting Powder SPF 30 acts almost like a dry shampoo
I first tried this product a couple of years ago in the US, but now it's available at Boots so I've finally been able to restock!
I love how versatile the powder is.
You can use it over your face in the same way you would a setting powder, and it also works on the scalp, acting almost like a dry shampoo to absorb moisture while helping prevent sunburn.
But reapplying it multiple times becomes tricky, as it can end up looking cakey, so I find it works best in tandem with a face mist (SPF or otherwise) to add some moisture back into skin.
But if you're worried about shine, it's a no-brainer.

It goes on smoothly, and leaves a subtle sheen that feels super-hydrating – but it's not at all shiny like a gloss or an oil. My one gripe is the Factor 15 protection – I wish it were higher. But to make up for it, I apply a few layers, and top up more regularly. There aren't many luxurious SPF lip balms on the market, so this is a real treat.

Look no further than Waterford City, which will host its annual Spraoi International Street Arts Festival. Taking place from August 1- 3, Spraoi will transform the city into a giant stage, where artists from around the world will perform in over 130 events. They will include the likes of the acrobatic Cikada Circus, the Teenage Kicks concert showcasing young local musicians, and a puppet show about a giant baby and the two nannies who try to stop him from misbehaving. The Spraoi parade, which takes place at dusk on Sunday, is the climax of the weekend and one of the festival's unmissable events. It will feature 200 costumed performers, floats, music, lights, and special effects, followed by a fireworks extravaganza in the skies above Waterford. Visit for the full lineup. He has planted five acres with more than 100,000 flowers, and they are now in full bloom. He will also point out the farm's various walking trails, Instagram-worthy photo opportunities, and on-site cafe and shop. The cost is €30 per carload of people, which includes one bunch of sunflowers. No booking is required. All you have to do is show up on the days and times the farm is open.
