Collector Santosh Orders Fast-Tracking of Pending Dharani Applications and Public Service Requests in Gadwal
On Friday, the Collector conducted a review meeting with all mandal-level Tahsildars at the IDOC Conference Hall. The agenda covered key issues including Bhuharathi applications, ration card verifications, Mee Seva applications, and long-pending F-Line petitions.
During the meeting, the Collector emphasized that the government is prioritizing the resolution of land-related disputes through the Bhuharathi portal. He noted that this initiative aims to bring lasting justice and clarity to land ownership issues for farmers and landholders. In light of this, he directed officials to review and resolve all pending applications that emerged during the recent Revenue Conference.
He instructed revenue officials to issue notices without delay before initiating any further action on these applications. Special attention must be paid to assignment land issues, and detailed reports should be submitted after thorough examination. The Collector also reiterated that the entire process must be handled through online systems to ensure transparency and efficiency. Any challenges faced by officials should be brought to his attention immediately.
Additionally, the Collector urged that all pending ration card applications be processed without delay. He called for swift action in adding eligible family members and removing ineligible beneficiaries from the system.
Further, he directed officials to resolve Mee Seva service requests and long-pending F-Line petitions that have exceeded the prescribed time limit. He stressed that these services must be delivered to citizens promptly and without unnecessary delays.
The meeting was attended by Additional Collector Lakshmi Narayana, District Civil Supplies Officer Swami Kumar, Survey and Land Records AD Ram Chander, and all mandal-level Tahsildars and other concerned officials.

Andhra Pradesh government to pilot free LPG cylinder scheme under Direct Beneficiary Transfer in two districts
Vijayawada: The state govt has decided to switch to Direct Beneficiary Transfer (DBT) mode to implement the promised free LPG cylinder scheme. The DBT mode will be initially implemented through six LPG distributors in NTR and Guntur district as a pilot. The decision to move to DBT system has been taken following the chief minister Chandrababu Naidu's directive. The state govt launched a free LPG cylinders programme last November. The govt promised to give one cylinder free of cost in each quarter in a financial year. The scheme is applicable to all the BPL card holders. As per the existing guidelines of the scheme, the consumers need not to pay the cost of the cylinder to the distributor. The LPG distributors are supplying cylinders without taking any amount as the govt is remitting the amount to the oil companies. The state govt signed an MoU with the oil companies to ensure the smooth supply of LPG cylinders with a promise to pay the total amount soon after the completion of the bookings each quarter. The civil supplies and consumers affairs ministry, which acted as the nodal agency, felt that it is the best way of implementation of free cylinder scheme as it would be transparent. Similarly, the booking of refills are accepted only one per quarter, which is also helping the exchequer save huge amount even if some consumers failed to book the cylinders within the stipulated deadlines. The scheme is implemented in Dec-Mar, April-July, Aug-Nov period although it was launched in November. Based on a survey carried out through RTGS, the chief minister advised the civil supplies department to explore implementation of DBT so that the consumers could themselves pay the bill after getting the amount from the govt. "There is no point in taking such a huge burden without making the people feel that we have fulfilled the promise," said chief minister at a recent review meeting.

Collector Santosh to Hold Pension Adalat on July 25 to Resolve Long-Pending Pension and GPF Issues
Gadwal: In a major initiative aimed at addressing the long-standing pension-related grievances of retired government employees, District Collector B.M. Santosh has announced the conduct of a Pension Adalat. According to the official statement, the Pension Adalat will be held on July 25, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM at the Conference Hall of the Joint Mahabubnagar District Collectorate, where Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) from across the joint Mahabubnagar district will participate. The aim of this special drive is to expedite the resolution of pending pension and GPF (General Provident Fund) cases through coordination with the Principal Accountant General of Telangana and District-Level Pension Committees. The Adalat will focus on resolving complaints from pensioners, guiding departmental officers on how to promptly submit proposals, accelerating the resolution process, and reducing pension-related litigation. The event will include a workshop on pension and GPF issues involving officers from the districts of Mahabubnagar, Narayanpet, Jogulamba Gadwal, Wanaparthy, and Nagarkurnool. The workshop will provide clarity on procedures and help resolve administrative delays that are often the root cause of pension case backlogs. As part of the directive, the Collector instructed all department heads in Jogulamba Gadwal district to ensure that at least one officer responsible for handling pension matters from each department attends the workshop without fail. Similarly, District Treasury and Sub-Treasury Officers are required to participate in the Pension Adalat and workshop with all relevant records and documentation pertaining to pension and GPF matters. The Collector also warned that any negligence or delay in this matter would be viewed seriously, as the event is critical for delivering long-overdue justice to pensioners who have dedicated years of service to the government.
