After a verdict was finally delivered in Karen Read's ongoing murder trial, here's where you can watch the documentary surrounding the case that has gripped the world.
On Wednesday, cheers erupted from outside the courtroom after a jury found the 45-year-old not guilty for the death of her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O'Keefe, following a second trial.
In January 2022, she was accused of hitting her partner, 46, with her SUV and leaving him to die in the snow outside a home in Canton, Massachusetts – and was eventually charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter and leaving the scene.
The financial analyst protested her innocence and, after a jury failed to come to a verdict in the first hearings in 2024, a second trial began in April of this year.
Although she was acquitted of second-degree murder and the two lesser charges, she was convicted of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, and sentenced to one year probation.
Between both cases, Investigation Discovery released a five-part documentary looking into O'Keefe's death and the allegations against Read in March, titled A Body in the Snow: The Trial of Karen Read.
The synopsis simply reads: 'On a cold January morning in a sleepy suburb outside of the city, a local police officer named John O'Keefe was found dead on a fellow officer's front lawn.'
It is currently available to stream in the UK on Discovery+, while all episodes are also on Hulu, ID and HBO Max in the US.
The program received rave reviews online, with Collider praising: 'A Body in the Snow is one of the most meticulous and thought-provoking true-crime series to come out recently.'
A viewer on IMDb agreed, branding the footage 'captivating'.
'This docuseries is one of the most gripping true crime watches I've had in ages,' another praised.
'Slick, thoughtful, and clearly well-researched, it goes beyond just retelling events-it almost plays like an exposé.'
Netflix also announced an untitled upcoming three-part series, exploring 'what happened in the days leading up to O'Keefe's death'.
'The team feels immensely privileged to be bringing this important series to a Netflix global audience,' directors Danielle Johnson and Rob Miller said.
'It is a case that has garnered a huge amount of public attention and has far-reaching implications.
'We are also mindful that this is a hugely sensitive case and we are determined to treat all those involved with the respect and consideration they deserve.'
Bosses are yet to share news of the release date.
Canton locals were left shocked when O'Keefe was found unresponsive in the snow outside his former colleague's home in early 2022, following a late-night house party.
Read was later accused of hitting him with her car – her lawyers alleged that he had been beaten and bitten by a dog, before being left outside to die.
They argued that the professor had been framed for his death and was the victim of a police cover-up.
Her first trial was declared a mistrial last July, after the jury remained deadlocked following five days of deliberations More Trending
After a second trial and four days of deliberating, a new jury reached a verdict and acquitted her of second-degree murder.
'I just want to say two things,' she told the crowd gathered outside the courtroom. 'I could not be standing here without these amazing supporters who have supported me and my team.

'The second thing I want to say is that no one has fought harder for justice of John O'Keefe than I have.'

Netflix viewers race to watch 'mesmerising' drama based on true story

It looks like Netflix subscribers are discovering a Sheridan Smith crime drama that first aired on ITV in 2012, based on a shocking true crime story. Mrs Biggs is climbing up the streamer's ranking of the platform's top 10 TV shows – making a convincing argument for a late summer binge watch. Sheridan Smith – who has so many British dramas to her name it can be easy to let one slip – stars in this five-part drama, which is based on the true story of the Great Train Robbery. The drama focuses on the relationship between Charmian, played by Smith, and her husband Ronnie Biggs, played by Daniel Mays. It follows everything from their first lovestruck meeting and the fateful 1963 train heist, to its aftermath and their eventual divorce in 1976, after Biggs fathered a child in Brazil. We see the petty crook meet his soon-to-be wife on, of all places, a train. 'The future is full of possibilities,' he tells her. 'The past will only drag you down.' With that, the Biggs couple set off on a crime spree before they eventually decide to settle down for a quiet married life. That is, until the 'one last job' pops up in the chance to join the train robbers. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Some labelled the drama a sanitised version of events, but it was inspired by a letter Biggs sent to his wife following the death of their son Nicholas. Biggs's ex-wife Charmian was also a consultant on the show. The show's writer and executive producer Jeff Pope said he wanted to set out a romantic tale, rather than a romanticised one. 'We show Ron as perhaps a little too wilfully optimistic and Charmian is the cold voice of reason throughout. It absolutely would be a danger of a piece like this to romanticise it,' he told The Guardian. 'It will get laughed out of court if it's a slushfest. In the first episode, they steal, he strikes her, we acknowledge the fact he had a criminal record; further down the line, Charmian has an abortion by another man. We don't pull back, we don't flinch.' In 1963, millions were robbed from a Royal Mail train en route to London from Glasgow. With the help of inside information, the gang of crooks toyed with the train signal system to get the train to stop so they could board. £2.61million was nabbed, which was worth about £62million in 2023. Most of the cash was never recovered. The gang hid at a farm after the robbery, but police found the spot, including a Monopoly board they had used which was covered in incriminating fingerprints. The evidence led to the eventual arrest and conviction of most of the gang. Praised at the time of its release for the quality of the acting and the excitement of the episodes, TV viewers have shared their positive reception over the years, as Mrs Biggs has been available on ITVX as well as Netflix. Taking to X, @AshWoody90 praised: 'Mrs Biggs on Netflix, possibly one the best things I have ever watched.' @elliot_gonzalez commended the creative partnership between the show's writer and star, writing: 'Jeff Pope and Sheridan Smith should always work together. Mrs Biggs, The Widower, Cilla and now The Moorside. All outstanding work.' More Trending @TVChatty wrote: 'All week I've been watching Mrs Biggs on ITV3. Why did I not watch it first time? Fantastic story and great acting. Really enjoyed it.' @lizcurran echoed: 'Sheridan Smith is wonderful in Mrs Biggs – she is one of my favourite actors. Utterly mesmerising – always.' Hollyoaks legend arrested for murder - and it's not Jez

Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Tuesday's (August 19) episode that is now available to view on Channel 4 streaming. The episode in question will air on E4 on at 7pm. Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) has been arrested over the death of Bobby Costello (Zak Sutcliffe) after his presence at the scene of the crime was revealed during the funeral. Bobby, as viewers know, escaped from prison earlier this year while serving time in prison for the killing of both Silas Blissett (Jeff Rawle) and Verity Hutchinson (Eva O'Hara). Fans will also remember that the boy attempted to murder Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood) – who was seeing his mum at the time – as he set a fire in Price Slice, which led to DeMarcus' (Tomi Ade) life being put in danger. Tony had long held animosity towards Bobby for taking the life of sister Verity, which led to numerous showdowns between he and Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe). In an unexpected turn of events, sparks flew between the warring duo, with an affair commencing shortly afterwards. Mercedes, however, ultimately knew that Tony's true heart lay with Diane (Alex Fletcher) and therefore they called things off. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video The situation escalated dramatically last month when Tony came to believe that he'd killed Bobby in a hit-and-run. In reality, the boy was murdered by Jez Blake (Jeremy Sheffield), who has killed numerous characters over the past year. Tuesday's offering of the long-running soap saw Mercedes in tears as she prepared to say goodbye to Bobby on the day of his funeral, while John Paul (James Sutton) – who was present during Bobby's demise – attempted to remember what happened on the day of his nephew's death as he struggled with flashbacks. Tony was taken aback when Mercedes asked him to attend the funeral – which was being live-streamed – with her and soon Diane discovered that the two characters had been secretly sleeping together. In emotional scenes, Diane stormed over to the church and berated Tony for cheating on her, with Mercedes confirming that they'd seen each other briefly – but assured Di that they were over. Diane, who had assisted Tony in getting rid of the car he believed killed Bobby, let slip about her husband's alleged role in Bobby's death, much to the horror of Mercedes. Jez, who was recovering in hospital following his fall last week, was watching on the livestream and he was filled with glee to see someone else get the blame for his crime. Mercedes slapped Tony and ordered everyone out of the church, while Diane made it quite clear that she and Tone were over for good. More Trending In heartwrenching scenes, the police arrived to take Tony away as the village watched on. The question is: is Tony going to be sentenced to prison for a crime he did not commit? Will Jez really get away with his murderous actions? Or can Sienna (Anna Passey), who knows all about Jez's dastardly deeds, expose her father for the killer that he is and secure Tony's freedom in the process? Later this week, Sienna heads to the police station, hoping to speak to Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) about what she knows but, to her horror, Jez appears before her very eyes. No way out for Sienna as Hollyoaks confirms horror showdown with killer dad Jez

Sienna Blake's (Anna Passey) life is on the line in Hollyoaks next week as Jez (Jeremy Sheffield) does everything in his power to keep his dastardly secrets from spilling out, with a devilish game of cat and mouse on the cards. Jez, as audiences know, has murdered numerous characters since rocking up in the village last year (two years in-universe following the historic time-jump). From Dilly Harcourt (Emma Johnsey-Smith) to Robbie Roscoe (Charlie Wernham), as well as Bobby Costello (Zak Sutcliffe) and Abe Fielding (Tyler Conti), there have been no shortage of victims. Although she guiltily assisted in the cover-up of Dilly's demise, Sienna believed that her dad had turned over a new leaf and stopped committing crimes. However, the scales well and truly fell from her eyes earlier this month when she discovered the amount of people that have fallen victim to the twisted killer, who has been claiming lives for decades. With Robbie the latest in a long line of kills, Jez decided to come clean to his daughter, telling her that being a murderer is 'what he was born to do'. Sienna, however, was utterly appalled by the depths of his depravity and thus set out to expose him, fearing that he might start targeting his loved ones given that Dilly and Dennis Savage (Joe Tracini) weren't safe from his grasp. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Jez tracked her down before she could tell anyone what he did, with a brutal fall ensuing at the city walls. Jez recovered in hospital and tasked Martha (Sherrie Hewson) with eliminating Sienna from the equation but the mother and son duo reconsidered when they realised that Sienna had no memory of what she uncovered previously. However, it turned out that Sienna was simply biding her time and, determined to get justice for all of his victims, Sienna set to out to expose Jez for what he did. Doing so, however, proves more difficult than she initially thought and, with her plans to report Jez to the police having backfired, she resolves to flee instead. Next week, Sienna arranges to pick up some new identities for her and her loved ones as her plan is officially set in motion but, knowing what she's up to, Jez arrives with Dodger and Liberty Savage (Danny Mac and Jessamy Stoddart), halting the escape plot. Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) is convinced that Sienna needs help and that such an intervention is needed. But with time of the essence, Sienna decides to meet with the person she's been speaking to online – and Jez goes after her. A showdown between the two ensues in the folly, with Jez quizzing Sienna on her plans, telling her that he doesn't want her to leave him. Sienna breaks down, claiming that she connects with him better than anyone – but if they have any hope of a relationship then he must turn himself in to the police. In an unexpected turn of events, Jez agree to do just that. The question is: will he follow through? That remains to be seen but with Hollyoaks In Bloom underway in the subsequent episode, it seems there's more twists to come. Cleo, meanwhile, is left in pain and Sienna comes to her aid. Worried something is wrong with the baby, the couple head to the hospital. It's good news as Cleo and the baby receive the all clear but there's a shock in store when the police arrive at the hospital, looking for Sienna. Later, Sienna is on the run from the authorities and Jez goes to track her down, with the pair winding up in a garden centre. What follows is a twisted game of cat and mouse. Sienna is well and truly in Jez's clutches and, determined to maintain the upper hand, Jez takes to the tannoy and pleads for help, claiming Sienna is the one doing the chasing – with a gun! More Trending Pictures show the horrifying scenes to come, with Jez stalking his terrified daughter through the garden centre. Will Sienna make it to safety? And can she convince her loved ones that Jez is actually the danger and not her? It's going to be a week not to be missed in the village.
