BTS fans take the spotlight in latest K-Pop documentary heading to Vue Hamilton
It's been a big week for BTS fans around the globe, as the K-Pop sensation announced they will return next spring with a new studio album (their first since 2020's Be) and an accompanying world tour.
For those itching for new content from the band, arriving somewhat sooner than the reunion is BTS Army: Forever We Are Young, a brand-new documentary celebrating the fans that helped catapult 21st century pop icons BTS into global stardom.
Screening at Vue Hamilton from Wednesday, July 30, to Sunday, August 3, tickets for the screenings are on sale now. Not only that, fans will also be able to buy limited edition merch for the film – a themed reusable drinks cup and popcorn tin.
The film travels the globe, showcasing fans at a BTS-focused ReactorCon in Lewisville, Texas; a dance instructor in Seoul who only teaches BTS choreography; and fans who've been organising since 2013 to help BTS dominate the charts.
Defying stereotypes of the typical K-Pop fan, BTS Army: Forever We Are Young explores the intergenerational, culturally savvy, and socially active world of the band's fans.

Say goodbye to a modern icon at Khao Yai Art Forest
It's been just over six months since Maman, the monumental spider by legendary French-American artist Louise Bourgeois, spun its web in the heart of Khao Yai Art Forest. In that time, it has captivated art lovers, charmed nature seekers and left countless visitors pausing in awe at its immense presence. But now, the gentle giant is ready to take its leave of Thailand, leaving behind a forest full of memories. To mark its return to the Easton Foundation in New York City, the gallery is hosting a special farewell event, 'Farewell to Maman'. Happening on August 16–17, this two-day celebration features immersive art, communal workshops and live performances, all set against the serene embrace of Khao Yai's natural landscape. Beyond experiencing the sculpture itself, visitors can enjoy full access to Khao Yai Art Forest, wandering forest trails to discover internationally acclaimed installations such as Fujiko Nakaya's Khao Yai Fog Forest and Elmgreen & Dragset's K-BAR. Created for Tate Modern in 1999, Maman is one of only seven editions worldwide and has returned to Southeast Asia for the first time in 25 years. Other editions can be found at locations such as Guggenheim Bilbao (Spain), Mori Art Museum (Japan), and the National Gallery of Canada. So, this is a rare opportunity to see the installation up close without having to travel halfway across the globe. Thailand doesn't often get a chance to host works of this scale. While art festivals like Bangkok Art Biennale or Thailand Biennale bring international masterpieces to the country, Maman is different. The work reflects the quiet strength of motherhood, patiently weaving its presence over the forest as a spider tends to its web. Nestled in the mountains of Khao Yai, it creates a connection between art, nature and people, inviting visitors to stop, reflect and appreciate the balance of life and creativity.

Seventeen returns to Hong Kong on their 2025 world tour for the first time in seven years
Hong Kong Carats, our time has finally come! Popular third-generation K-pop band Seventeen is finally set to perform in Hong Kong once again after seven whole years of being away. The last time we saw these 13 members collectively in concert was back in 2018, so the fact that they're playing in our city as part of their 'New_' world tour is pretty damn huge. Earlier in May this year, Seventeen celebrated their 10th anniversary with the release of their fifth studio album Happy Burstday, which included solo songs from all members for the first time in the band's discography. Fans can probably expect these to all be performed during the concert – meaning more stage time for all your biases. Seventeen will perform at the Kai Tak Stadium on September 27 and 28. Tickets are priced between $899 and $2,899, and all highest-tier ticket holders will get access to the soundcheck session, an exclusive lanyard and badge, VIP admission, and a dedicated merch lane. Carat global membership holders who register on Weverse between 11am on August 12 and 10.59pm on August 14 can join the members' presale on Cityline, which opens at 10am on August 26. There will then be priority booking for Hang Seng Visa credit card holders on August 27, from 10am to 11.59pm. Tickets for the general public will go on sale at 10am on August 28 via Cityline.

Seven brunch spots with outdoor seating in Glasgow

The team's specials are always worth a look too, with past creations pairing Corrie Mains eggs with chive, coriander, crab and smashed avocado or Thai basil cream cheese and crispy bacon bits. Partick Duck Club 27 Hyndland Street Just down the road from Zique's Hinba, the Partick Duck Club offers customers the chance to dine in quirky outdoor 'duck huts'. These booth-like benches look out towards Masnfield Park, making them a great choice for people watching while you tuck into a breakfast bun with homemade haggis, scrambled egg or beef dripping hash brown. The brunch menu is served all day, which means later on you can swap the coffee for a spicy Bloody Mary or fruity mimosa, if you fancy it. Cottonrake Cafe 717 Great Western Road There are plenty of fantastic brunch spots dotted along Great Western Road in Glasgow's West End, but the attention to detail and winning flavour combinations at Cottonrake earn them a place on this week's list. Think coconut and chia seed overnight oats with cherry compote and sweet nut dukkah, toasted rye topped with prosciutto, charred spring onion whipped cheese, hazelnut pesto and grilled nectarines, or grilled sourdough sandwiches with gruyere, cheddar & dijon mustard. The team has recently started opening in the evenings too, with a brand new dinner menu. Scran and Roadie 180 Saltmarket Previously located on London Road in the city's East End, Scran was known for regularly topping lists of Glasgow's best brunch spots. Although the team moved to a new unit last month, adding a selection of freshly made pizzas to their offering, there's no need for OG fans to worry. At their larger home just off Glasgow Green, you'll still find the team's best-selling brunch dishes from poached eggs with Stornoway black pudding to chicken salt hash browns topped with parmesan and truffle mayonnaise available from opening until 3 pm.
