Serie A: Parma vs. Napoli – Probable line-ups and where to watch on TV
Antonio Conte's table-topping Napoli have a mathematical opportunity to secure the Serie A title depending on results elsewhere when they take on Parma away from home in the penultimate round of league fixtures on Sunday evening.
The Partenopei lead Inter by one point at the top of the standings with two games to go, and will win the Serie A title this evening if they beat Parma and if Lazio beat the Nerazzurri in San Siro. Both of these matches will be taking place simultaneously.

Napoli's biggest miss is Stanislav Lobotka, who is not expected to travel while suffering with an ankle issue. He adds to an injury list that also includes Italy international Alessandro Buongiorno and Juan Jesus.

That means that Billy Gilmour is expected to start in midfield alongside Scott McTominay and Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, with Matias Olivera in line for another shift at centre-back.
Kick-off, like every game in Serie A taking place on Sunday, will be at 19.45 BST.
Parma vs. Napoli: Probable line-ups
Parma (3-5-2): Suzuki, Delprato, Leoni, Balogh; Hainaut, Hernani, Keita, Sohm, Valeri; Pellegrino, Bonny.

Italian soccer coaches call for Israel to be suspended by UEFA and FIFA over Gaza war

FLORENCE, Italy (AP) — The Italian Soccer Coaches' Association is pushing for Israel to be suspended from international competition over the war in Gaza. Ahead of Italy's crucial World Cup qualifiers against Israel in the next two months, the AIAC says 'Israel must stop. Soccer must also take action.' The AIAC has written a formal letter to the Italian soccer federation, to be forwarded to European and world soccer's governing bodies, calling for Israel to be suspended. 'The AIAC Board of Directors unanimously believes that, given the daily massacres, which have also resulted in hundreds of deaths among managers, coaches, and athletes … it is legitimate, necessary, indeed a duty, to place at the center of federation talks the request, to be submitted to UEFA and FIFA, for the temporary exclusion of Israel from sporting competitions,' the letter concludes. 'Because the pain of the past cannot cloud anyone's conscience and humanity.' Italy is set to play Israel on neutral turf in Debrecen, Hungary on Sept. 8, before hosting the return match in Udine on Oct. 14. 'We could just focus on playing, looking the other way. But we believe that is not right,' AIAC vice president Giancarlo Camolese said. The Azzurri also played Israel in Udine last October in a Nations League match that saw protests before and during the game and intense security measures, including snipers on the roof of the stadium. Since then the situation has continued to deteriorate with the Palestinian death toll from the 22-month war passing 62,000 earlier this month. 'The world is in flames. Many people like the Palestinians are suffering,' AIAC vice president Francesco Perondi said. 'Indifference is unacceptable.' ___ AP soccer:

Report – Bologna Turn To Venezia Star Pulling The Plug On Deal For Inter Milan & Albania Midfielder

Bologna have opened talks for Hans Nicolussi Caviglia after pulling the plug on their pursuit of Inter Milan flop Kristjan Asllani. According to Matteo Moretto via FCInterNews, the deal now seems likely to collapse. Furthermore, the Rossoblu have already turned their attention to other targets. Indeed, they have already established contact with Venezia to discuss Nicolussi Caviglia's transfer to Emilia-Romagna. As such, Kristjan Asllani is increasingly likely to stay at San Siro despite falling out of favor. (Photo by) Inter and Bologna appeared close to finalizing Asllani's move to Stadio Renato Dall'Ara. However, that's not going to happen. For an unknown reason, Bologna have decided to call off their pursuit of the Albanian midfielder and turn to Nicolussi Caviglia. The 25-year-old has signed a permanent contract with Venezia this summer after an impressive loan spell last season. Yet, the former Juventus starlet could soon leave Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo and return to Serie A. After suffering relegation to Serie B, Venezia are ready to discuss the sale.
