Why VPR 's Scheana Shay Says Husband Brock Davies' Affair Was "Karma"

is getting candid about one of the worst times of her life.
In fact, days after revealing her husband Brock Davies cheated on her in 2020 while she was pregnant with their daughter Summer Moon, the Vanderpump Rules alum shared why his infidelity felt like payback for her own 2006 affair with Eddie Cibrian.
"It really felt like I got my karma," Scheana told Us Weekly in an interview published July 16. "Did I deserve for [Brock to cheat on me]? No, but I told myself that I did."
And more than four years later, the "Good as Gold" singer admitted her and Brock's relationship still isn't 100 percent healed.
"It takes work every single day," the 40-year-old told the outlet. "I will forever have insecurities. Just the other day, I saw him swipe and delete a text, and I'm like, 'What was that?' And he's like, 'Seriously, Scheana?' But I genuinely believe he would never do anything like that again. I do trust him. I have forgiven him."
Plus, Scheana added, "We've put in the work in couples therapy. We have a very open line of communication. I want to show people that if you truly love someone, a mistake from their past doesn't have to define the future of your relationship."
As for why Scheana finally decided to open up about Brock's past betrayal for the first time publicly in her new memoir My Good Side?
"After several therapy sessions and really talking about it," she noted, "we decided that this book would be inauthentic if we didn't put it all in."
Plus, Scheana is ready to fully stand in her truth.
'I have a voice, and I want to use it," she said. "I am extremely proud of the woman I've become. I am not that 21-year-old girl chasing boys around clubs anymore.'

But when it comes to her own past mistake—dating Eddie for multiple years while he was still married to then-wife Brandi Glanville—Scheana believes she wrongfully took the blame for their affair since the Third Watch actor was the one who misled her during the romance.
"I have worn this scarlet letter for so long," she reflected. "I'm this 'home-wrecking whore' every day in the comments. He's the one who lied. He is the one who cheated. He is the home-wrecker. I don't want to say I was innocent, but I was lied to by a 33-year-old man when I was 21, fresh out of college. I feel like people tend to forget that."
However, the Bravo alum added, "Looking back, were there red flags? Absolutely. I was leading with my heart and not my brain."

Would you ever swap human artists for AI in your playlist

Psychedelic rock band The Velvet Sundown has over a million monthly listeners on Spotify and earns thousands of dollars every month. However, the catch is that it's not a traditional band at all. It's mostly made by artificial intelligence. Their Spotify bio confirms that the group is a synthetic music project, guided by human creative direction but composed, voiced, and visualized using AI. This is a sign of where music may be headed. This revelation has sparked heated debate within the music industry. Some people see it as an exciting new frontier for creativity. Others see it as a threat to everything music has traditionally stood for: originality, emotion, and human expression. These tools handle everything, vocals, instruments, structure, with startling sophistication. The Velvet Sundown reportedly earned more than $34,000 in a single month from streaming platforms. And it's not alone. Other acts, such as Aventhis, a "dark country" musician with over 600,000 monthly listeners, are also believed to be powered by AI-generated content. This isn't happening in a studio with a team of producers. It's often just one person inputting text and outputting tracks. The barrier to entry is nearly gone. With a laptop and internet connection, anyone can create and distribute AI-generated songs on a massive scale. Major record labels are pushing back. Universal Music Group, Sony Music, and Warner Records have filed lawsuits against AI music platforms, accusing them of using copyrighted material without permission during the training process. At the same time, music creators and advocacy groups are demanding regulation. They want AI-generated tracks to be clearly labeled. They're also calling for updated copyright protections to prevent the misuse of human-created work during AI training. Streaming platforms are starting to acknowledge the issue. Deezer revealed that nearly one in five new uploads are entirely AI-generated. This trend is growing and reshaping the very idea of what it means to be a musician today. For emerging musicians, the rise of AI is deeply frustrating. Tilly Louise, an alternative pop artist based in the UK, has amassed millions of streams but still works a full-time job because her music doesn't generate enough income. Watching an AI-generated band pull in massive streaming numbers feels like being pushed aside by something that isn't even real. She's not alone in this sentiment. Many artists feel overwhelmed by an industry that increasingly rewards volume and virality over authenticity and hard work. Some critics warn that AI-generated art dilutes genuine human expression, believing it floods the internet with hollow content, making it harder for listeners to form a genuine connection through music. Not everyone sees AI as the enemy. Grammy-winning producer Timbaland recently launched a venture called Stage Zero, which plans to spotlight AI-generated pop stars. Music schools are also adapting. Educators are now teaching students how to utilize AI tools to enhance their creative process, rather than avoiding them. Still, even those who are optimistic about the technology admit that it could completely upend the music business. As AI-generated content becomes increasingly easy to produce, the competition for listener attention and streaming dollars will intensify. Nobody knows exactly what the future will look like, but the direction is clear: AI is no longer on the fringes. It's already in the mainstream. AI is no longer just supporting music creation; it is actively creating music that listeners are streaming and enjoying. Whether it's rock, country, or pop, AI-generated songs are showing up in more playlists every day. The real question is not whether AI music is good enough. It's whether listeners will care that it wasn't made by a human. As technology improves and the lines between human and machine blur, that question will only get harder to answer. Does it matter who made the music, as long as it sounds good? Justin and Hailey Bieber Share Passionate Kiss in New Photo

THE RUNDOWN On Friday, Justin Bieber posted new pictures with wife Hailey Bieber, including a shot of them sharing a passionate kiss. In the image, which Hailey then shared in her Instagram Stories, the model is wearing a cropped black tank top and has her arms wrapped around a shirtless Justin. She is holding a yellow can and phone in one hand and has her eyes closed as they kiss. He has one hand around her waist, the other coming around her back. The photo was reportedly taken after a listening party for his his new album, Swag, at the Bird Street Club. In a few carousels, Justin shared snaps from the whole night, which featured dancing, music, and what looks like a mini golf range. In other pictures, he stands behind Hailey with his arms wrapped around her, looking out at the crowd. In another, she is smiling behind him as he looks out over the turntables. The singer has been sharing more shots of Hailey lately, including another kissing photo from a recent vacation they took together. The couple is coming up on their seven-year wedding anniversary. It is almost the first birthday of their son, Jack Blues Bieber, who they welcomed last August. In Swag, Justin seemingly made references to marriage troubles and his commitment to sticking with Hailey no matter what. On the song 'Walking Away,' Justin sings, 'Baby, I ain't walking away / You were my diamond / Gave you a ring / I made you a promise / I told you I'd change / It's just human nature / These growing pains / And baby, I ain't walking away.' In 'Daisies,' he discusses how they deal with conflict, singing: 'You leave me on read, babe, but I still get the message / Instead of a line, it's three dots, but I can connect them / And if it ain't right, babe, you know I respect it / But if you need time, just take your time / Honey, I get it, I get it, I get it / Way you got me all in my head / Think I'd rather you in my bed / Whatever it is, you know I can take it / I'm countin' the days, how many days 'til I can see you again?' In late June, a source told Us Weekly, 'Justin's been a hard person to deal with recently because of what he's going through. Hailey is the stable parent and the one keeping their family together. It's been really hard on her.' That source added, 'They don't talk about divorce.' A second source said, 'They believe they are soulmates and meant for each other. They'll do anything to make it work.'

Country star Zac Brown ‘going into debt' to fund expensive Las Vegas Sphere residency

You get what you give. Zac Brown has revealed that he is taking on debt to fund his highly anticipated four-show residency at the Las Vegas Sphere later this year. 'Just going into debt to make it happen,' the 'Knee Deep' country star, 46, told Us Weekly in an interview published Friday, July 25. 'I'm telling a lot of personal things about my life that I've never shared before.' 'Everything hard that we go through as human beings always ends up making us better in some way,' Brown added.
