CM applauds Civils toppers from Rajiv Abhayahastam scheme
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy congratulated the seven candidates who received financial assistance under the Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhayahastam scheme and successfully cleared the Civil Services Examination, the results of which were announced on Tuesday.
The Chief Minister expressed his happiness, stating that it is a matter of great pride that seven beneficiaries of the scheme were selected for the prestigious Civil Services in the very first year of its launch by the State.He also extended his congratulations to all the successful candidates from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and other parts of the country.
The Chief Minister said, 'I wish them all the very best and hope to see them play a pivotal role in the service of the nation and in nation-building.' He reaffirmed the #Telangana Government's deep commitment to supporting and empowering youth in realising their dreams and aspirations.
The candidates who received financial assistance under the scheme and cleared the examination are: Ettaboyina Sai Shivani, Hari Prasad Potharaju, Preethi Raparthi, Nagaraja Naik Banothu, Suryateja Thogaru, Anjaneyulu Gokamalla, and Ramtenki Sudhaker.

Govt to roll out ‘Bala Bharosa' for emergency treatment to kids
Hyderabad: The Telangana Government is set to launch the 'Bala Bharosa' scheme imminently, which is a new initiative aimed at providing emergency medical treatment for children aged under five. This announcement was made by Panchayat Raj Minister Dhanasri Anasuya, also known as Seethakka, during a video conference with district collectors on Monday. The Minister explained that under the 'Bala Bharosa' scheme, all necessary medical tests for children below the age of five would be conducted, and any required surgeries would be performed free of charge. Emphasising the importance of government schools and Anganwadi centres, where many children from less privileged backgrounds receive their education, Seethakka urged collectors to recognise their crucial role. 'Telangana will only truly prosper if Anganwadis and government schools are strong. Their impact shapes the future of Telangana. Therefore, give them special focus,' she stated. The Minister also highlighted progress on student uniforms, noting that women's groups are stitching them for government school students, with approximately 90 per cent of the work for the current academic year already completed. She assured that uniforms would be distributed to all students on the school's opening day, contrasting this with previous delays where uniforms were sometimes received six months into the academic year. With Anganwadis scheduled to reopen on June 11, Seethakka instructed collectors to inspect their management beforehand. 'For the first time, we have given holidays to Anganwadis,' she noted, calling for field level staff to inspect Anganwadi buildings. She urged steps to encourage children to enrol in Anganwadis and called for these centres to be made comparable to private play schools, ensuring facilities such as drinking water, electricity, and toilets are provided. The Minister called for the 'Amma Maata Anganwadi batha' programme, launching on June 11, to be a success. She also directed that dilapidated Anganwadi centres be relocated to nearby vacant government buildings and announced plans to construct 1,000 new Anganwadi buildings, for which land identification should begin immediately. Furthermore, the Minister stated that the Indira Mahila Shakti is a flagship programme of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, and collectors should strive to make one crore women 'crorepatis' (millionaires). She stressed that strengthening women's groups is key to realising the vision of 'Telangana Rising 2047'. Collectors should work to ensure that women's groups establish solar plants and petrol stations, identifying required land immediately and commencing work. With solar plants set to launch on October 2, the Minister asked collectors to focus particularly on achieving this target. Agreements have already been made with solar installation companies district wise, and work on the solar plants should commence in coordination with them. Construction of Indira Mahila Shakti Bhavans in 22 districts should be completed by November, she added, urging expedited work in coordination with Panchayati Raj Engineering Department officials.

CM Revanth lays foundation for Rs 1,051 crore projects in Alair, including Gandhamalla reservoir, school, hospital
YADADRIBHUVANAGIRI: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stones for a slew of development works totalling Rs 1,051.45 crore in the Alair Assembly constituency, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district on Friday. The projects aim to significantly boost infrastructure and public amenities in the region. Among the major projects for which foundation stones were laid is the Gandhamalla reservoir, a crucial undertaking with an estimated cost of Rs 574.56 crore. The CM also initiated the construction of a Young India Residential School, a project valued at Rs 200 crore, emphasising the government's focus on education and a medical college building at a cost of Rs 183 crore, promising enhanced healthcare facilities for the area. Further development initiatives include comprehensive works within Yadagirigutta Municipality, encompassing the construction of water, drainage, CC and BT roads, all to be taken up at a cost of Rs 25.50 crore. Connectivity will also see a boost with the construction of a high-level bridge in Kolanupaka village and Kalvapalli village costing Rs 7.50 crore and Rs 6 crore respectively. Administrative infrastructure will be strengthened in Motakondur mandal with the construction of Tahsildar, MPDO offices and a police station, a combined project costing Rs 8.25 crore. To support the agricultural sector, foundation stones were laid for 20,000 metric tonne capacity godowns in Datarpally village with an outlay of Rs 22.75 crore and 2,500 metric tonne capacity godowns in Aleru Market Committee at a cost of Rs 2.75 crore. Road infrastructure across the Alair Assembly segment will also see improvement with the construction of BT roads costing Rs 21.14 crore.

Cabinet to meet twice a month to accelerate policy implementation
Hyderabad: In a bid to resolve pending administrative issues at higher level and accelerate the implementation of the welfare and development programmes in the state, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is said to have decided to hold one state Cabinet meeting every fortnight. Accordingly, there will be a second Cabinet meeting later this month. It is likely that Cabinet meetings are held on the first and third Saturday every month. During these meetings, the Cabinet will review every pending issue in every department and expedite policy making. Sources said that the next Cabinet meeting will also discuss the report submitted by the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) on the multi-purpose Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project. It would also discuss recommendations made by the Vigilance Commission against the irrigation officials involved in the construction of the project. In the marathon meeting held on Friday, Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy made a power point presentation on the NDSA report and the status of three barrages – Medigadda, Annaram and Sundilla, which were damaged. Officials said that the Chief Minister will take a call on the NDSA and Vigilance Commission reports in the next Cabinet meeting. Sources said that the ministers brought to the notice of the Chief Minister the development works that were pending due to administrative hurdles. In a quick response, Revanth Reddy asked his Cabinet colleagues to come up with an action plan and detailed notes on such important issues in the next Cabinet meeting. The Chief Minister and ministers will also analyze the status of the progress of each scheme and development work in every Assembly constituency. They will rectify the pending issues, if any, immediately in consultation with the officials. If required, the Cabinet will also summon respective Secretaries to seek clarifications on the pending issues. Issues like farmers' welfare, clearance of pending bills of the government and retired employees, Indiramma houses, issuing of ration cards, job recruitments, irrigation projects and investigation in the phone tapping case, Formula E race case and Kaleshwaram scheme will be included in the agenda of every Cabinet meeting from this month. Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao has already been asked to prepare the list of the pending issues in every department and present the same in the next Cabinet meeting.
