Maserati Launches Officine Fuoriserie Bespoke Program
The program is split between customizable "catalog" models and full-blown tailor-made bespoke cars created as one-of-one models.
Maserati launched the program by revealing an exclusive titled "Less is More...?" with a livery that mixes matte and glossy paint colors.
According to Maserati CEO Santo Ficili, "Bespoke is the history and future of luxury cars." That's why earlier today, the Italian brand launched a new customization program called Officine Fuoriserie Maserati to give its customers more freedom in customizing their cars.
The program is split into two categories. The first offers two customizable collections: Fuoriserie Corsa and Fuoriserie Futura. The second category is all about individuality and offers bespoke, one-of-one cars that customers get to design throughout the build process in conjunction with Maserati's creative department.
Maserati says the Fuoriserie Corsa models are inspired by the brand's racing heritage. They use "color as a material" with liveries inspired by racing icons throughout Maserati's history. The brand stressed that none of the Corse models use decals, instead creating each livery entirely out of paint. Fuoriserie models are meant to focus more on material and "chromatic experimentation," according to Maserati. The second collection draws its inspiration from the interior design, product design, and sportswear industries.
As for the bespoke models, Maserati says that unlike the neighbors in Maranello, it has no plans to reject a customer's creative choices to protect the Maserati image. Instead, the brand will work with customers through every step of the design process to create a one-of-one model. As part of that process, Maserati will send a wooden box with physical examples for customers to get a sense of the available color and material.
For customers with deep enough pockets, the brand will even work to create bespoke colors that won't be available on any other car. The one thing the brand won't do in the bespoke process is work with customers on bespoke bodywork, though Klaus Busse, Maserati's head of design, said that could become an option in the future.
As proof of concept for the new program, Maserati revealed the MC20 Cielo Less is More...? one-off car. It's got a custom paint job that mixes a a Blu Corse Matte base with a glossy livery made up of geometric shapes inspired by the Bauhaus art style. The shapes are finished in shades of white, blue, yellow, and red.

Exciting wonderkid on his way to Liverpool as Richard Hughes agrees ANOTHER transfer
Another exciting player is on his way to Liverpool after Richard Hughes struck an agreement for his transfer. Before the start of this summer's window, the jury was still out on the club's sporting director. Hughes was quiet last summer, biding his time for this year. 🔴 Shop the LFC 2025/26 adidas home range 🚨2025/26 LFC x adidas range🚨 LFC x adidas Shop the home range today! This has been a summer of rebuild and transition, building on the founding blocks that Arne Slot established last season. Hughes has brought in Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong and Hugo Ekitike. In the process he's made this Liverpool team better and more unpredictable. The quartet alone would be enough for him to end this summer window with a pat on the back. But Hughes isn't done yet. He's ready to end the window with another spending spree. 🔴 Shop the LFC 2025/26 adidas away range There are now just less than three weeks left until the window shuts close on September 1st. Time is running out for Liverpool to get deals over the line. And while the new additions have bolstered Slot's team, there are still areas where Liverpool look vulnerable. The Community Shield highlighted the gap in defence and the lack of options available to Slot. This is something Hughes is clearly trying to fix. Liverpool have been embroiled in a saga with Marc Guehi and Crystal Palace for much of the summer. At this point, that deal could end either way. But ultimately, Liverpool have a great chance of getting their man on a free next summer if they don't agree a deal this year. In the meantime, Hughes has not put all his eggs in one basket. In a separate deal to Guehi, he's agreed a £26m transfer for the signing of Giovanni Leoni as per Fabrizio Romano. The exciting wonderkid is regarded as one Italy's best prospects and now he will be moving to Liverpool pending a medical. A lot of people are excited about Leoni and rightfully so. He looks like a real prospect, someone who may be destined to play at Anfield and follow in the footsteps of Virgil van Dijk. Now the latest on Leoni is the fact that he's jetting off to Liverpool. The wonderkid is now heading to Merseyside ahead of his move as per the latest video captured of the young Italian at an airport in Parama on Thursday morning. It's another deal that is close to be done. Another deal Hughes masterfully negotiated and agreed a pretty decent transfer fee for.

Lamborghini Pushes Gas Power To New Limits With Spaceship-Inspired Car
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Gasoline-powered Italian burbles will not go quietly into the night. Lamborghini showed off its engineering prowess and its commitment to fossil fuel use with the debut of its Fenomeno at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering today. The new car follows in the footsteps of other heralded models including Sesto Elemento (2010), Veneno (2013), Centenario (2016), Sián (2019) and Countach (2021). The Countach was first revealed at The Quail. "When we presented the Reventón in 2007, our goal was to create a truly superlative super sports car that represented the ultimate expression of what Lamborghini stood for," Stephan Winkelmann, chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, said in a press release. "This new few-off carries forward the same philosophy of distinction and innovation that is a fundamental part of our DNA." Fenomeno is a limited-edition sports car that combines the company's V12 engine with three electric motors to deliver a total of 1,065 horsepower, 824 of which is provided mechanically. Just 29 will be sold and it sold out before it debuted. It is the first car designed entirely by the Italian brand's new Sant'Agata Bolognese design department in north-central Italy. The car's name stems from a famous bull that fought in Morelia, Mexico, in 2002, in keeping with Lamborghini tradition. Also, in Spanish and Italian, "fenomeno" means phenomenal. Technical innovation in Fenomeno is matched with the car's power. A driver can utilize a 6D sensor that measures the car's dynamics and uses an algorithm to adapt vehicle systems accordingly, and carbon-ceramic brakes to take advantage of the model's full prowess. The car's engine is housed within its monofuselage, Lamborghini's term for its aeronautics-inspired chassis. Its monocoque is made entirely of carbon fiber, a material that Lamborghini recycles and upcycles throughout the creation cycle. Fenomeno's front structure is made of a forged composite that is created using short carbon fibers soaked in resin. "With the Fenomeno we are setting a new, authentic and brave course for our future-oriented design language," Director of Design Mitja Borkert, said in a press release. "We have created a hyper-elegant design piece that is as refined and sophisticated as it is both athletic and essential. It is an unexpectedly elegant spaceship, made entirely from carbon fiber while remaining true to our heritage. Fenomeno plays the music of our unique design DNA but with a different tonality and rhythm, creating another stunning legend that exceeds the highest expectations of our customers and collectors." Along with bold design language, the Fenomeno is the first Lamborghini to wear the company's fresh logo design, which debuted last year. The expected price for the Fenomeno is around $3.5 million before customizations.

Hip S.F. wine popup returns with a permanent location
A San Francisco wine bar popup that closed earlier this year has opened its permanent home in Nob Hill, taking over the space that once housed the decades-old Italian eatery Ristorante Milano. Bar Bibi, previously known as Haibibi Bar, opened Aug. 2 at 1448 Pacific Ave. The wine bar is owned by Bahman Safari, a trained chef who began the pop-up in 2020 with his friends Essam Kardosh and Andrew Nelson, who have since moved on. The new rendition of the business is open 6 days a week and offers a food menu in addition to its wine selection, which is focused on natural wines. The old Milano space is also the home of Better Half Coffee, a cafe that began as a pop-up within Habibi Bar. Better Half, which operates from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m., serves coffee and desserts from Bellaria Dessert Studio, a shop previously known for its tasting menus. Safari says Ristorante Milano was one of his favorite Italian restaurants — so its classic dishes are not going away entirely. Some of the original cooks from the restaurant are still working in the kitchen and are keeping pasta dishes onto the menu. Right now, Bar Bibi serves a version of Milano's spaghetti vongole ($25) that Safari has slightly tweaked , served with clams in white wine and garlic sauce. Overall, he envisions the food menu as a diverse selection of dishes. 'I wanted to create a menu that was something exciting, delicious, that isn't necessarily easily put into some kind of cuisine,' Safari said. 'Something that takes influences from all around the world.' This new, bigger space gives Safari the freedom to get creative. The popup, which was housed in the Russian Hill wine bar Bacchus, only had an induction burner and a toaster oven. The updated menu includes a halibut crudo with chili oil and pickled shallot ($22), and an eggplant toast with tomato stew and a sunny-side-up egg on top ($14). Bar Bibi was originally set to open in May — only a month after Milano closed its doors for good — but cleaning and setting up the restaurant took a little longer than Safari originally anticipated, he said. The rotating wine list features 14 options by the glass, including sparkling, white, lightly macerated and red wines. Bar Bibi continues to feature small producers with a 'hands off' approach: Safari looks for winemakers who practice organic or regenerative farming. The bottle list will expand in the upcoming weeks, and Safari said he's always on the hunt for new flavors. 'There's a whole big world of wine out there that is really exciting and I can't help myself,' he said. 'If I taste something good, I get excited and want to share it with folks.'
