The Last of Us

A true-to-source reimagination of the two games, The Last of Us accurately follows the storyline from start to finish—albeit with a few creative liberties. The chemistry between lead actors Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey during their whimsical moments and serious, life-threatening experience make for a great watch that affirms and immerses previous players of the games while introducing those who came in blind with a heartfelt (and heartracing) story.
As the show's second season runs with new episodes weekly, it's exciting to see how they approach some of the pivotal points in Ellie's quest for revenge. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners

From the animation studio that brought fan favourite anime such as Kill La Kill and Star Wars: Visions , Cyberpunk: Edgerunners takes viewers to Night City—a dystopia plagued by crime, corruption, and cybernetic addiction. The show takes place around a year before the events of the mainline video game, Cyberpunk 2077, and follows David Martinez as he tries to survive as a mercenary.

A slapstick comedy harbouring a 1930s art style, The Cuphead Show! follows the misadventures of two brothers, Cuphead and Mugman. Throughout the series, fans of the game will be able to spot multiple villains from the source material, making for fun easter egg hunts and moments of hilarity as more context is given to each character.
While the game uses traditional hand-drawn cel animation, the TV series, unfortunately, does not due to streaming deadlines. However, the animation quality is still one of the best in the genre, making for a wacky experience that stays true to the plot's atmosphere. Devil May Cry

Animated by South Korean studio Studio Mir, which brought the likes of The Legend of Korra and The Boondocks to television, the 2025 Devil May Cry anime is an adaptation of the mainline games. The show follows legendary demon hunter-for-hire, Dante, as he fights a powerful demon invading Earth. With over-the-top action sequences worthy of the character, it's a fun watch if you want to see good animation quality. However, longtime fans may notice several inconsistencies with the story—oftentimes breaking established events in favour of a new narrative.

At the Met Gala 2025, Bad Bunny Wears Prada a lo Criollo

While the Puerto Rican superstar was a co-host at last year's Met Gala, this year, he gets to just enjoy himself. 'It's nice because you don't have to be the first to arrive,' he says. 'Last year I greeted literally everybody but I still had fun you know, because I got to see what everybody was wearing and I got to critique all the looks.' Although he's been to the event many times before, he's open to seeing where the night takes him. 'I always enjoy myself. One year I saw Pedro Pascal, it was the first time we met, but if he's there tonight then that's going to be super cool. Last year Rosalía was at my table and it was nice…So it really depends.' Perfume is a recurring theme in Bad Bunny songs—there's a song literally called 'PERFuMITO NUEVO' on the record, and on another track he sings that he smells good. So I have to ask, what scent will he be wearing tonight? 'I love perfumes that have unusual scents. Sometimes people have told me they don't like how I smell because they're so uncommon. But I love them. I brought five bottles of different scents on this trip to New York,' he said, adding: 'My favourite way to create memories is through songs and through scent, so I love to wear a perfume when I go on a trip, and then I put it away so that later, I can grab the bottle and go on a trip.' But what perfume will he actually wear tonight? 'I don't know what I'm going to wear, but now that you're putting pressure on me I kind of want to go out and pick a new one up just to wear at the Met.' If anyone catches a whiff of Bad Bunny tonight, please report back. Article originally published on Vogue US

Pedro Pascal's sister heaps praise on The Last of Us star for trans community support

Pedro Pascal's transgender sister has praised the Hollywood actor for his support in helping her embrace who she really is. Lux Pascal has given an insight into her brother's kind nature and admitted that The Games of Thrones star taught her not to hide who she really is. The 32-year-old actress, who came out as trans in 2021, spoke about her older sibling to The Hollywood Reporter at Madrid's Platino Awards and said: "I'm incredibly proud, but the thing is that I've always known that he is a superstar." And I think that's refreshing, because usually we move around the world hiding who we are. That's the main lesson I've gotten from him: there's no reason for me to hide who I am, right? And I think people are seeing that." Lux Pascal, seen her with her sibling in January 2024, came out as trans in 2021 Revealing how she is coping during such an uncertain time for the trans community, Lux told THR: "Maybe it's not a good idea, but I'm focusing in my work. I'm doing stuff, and I want to keep my focus in that, and hopefully the storm will cease. "But I'm grateful, and I'm extremely privileged, and I think that continuing that route will help other people think with more ease. It is a difficult time, and I wish it wasn't as difficult. "I mean, we just went through a pandemic. Can we all just chill for a while and show empathy towards one another? I don't know, maybe I'm too much of a romantic,' she added. Pedro showed his support for the trans community when he wore a 'Protect the dolls' T-shirt to a movie screening on April 22 (Image: WireImage) Her comments come after Pedro stepped out wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the words "Protect the dolls" when he attended a screening of the movie Thunderbolts* in London on April 22. It's well known that the slogan is in support of trans women, with sales of this T-shirt going to the organization Trans Lifeline, which provides emotional support and financial assistance to trans people in the United States. Pedro also showed his unwavering support to the trans community when he slammed Harry Potter author J. K. Rowling as "disgusting" after she praised a UK Supreme Court ruling that stated the term "woman" in the 2010 Equality Act refers only to biological females. The author reportedly helped fund For Women Scotland, the group that brought the case to court. Leaving a comment on a post shared by activist Tariq Ra'ouf, Pascal wrote: "Awful disgusting S--T is exactly right. Heinous LOSER behavior."
