Police investigate fatal ATV crash involving pickup

Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fatal crash between a pickup truck and an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) that left one person dead and another seriously injured.
The collision occurred on Grass Lake Road in Kearney shortly after 7 p.m. on Saturday.
A 58-year-old individual from Grimsby was pronounced dead at the scene, while another person was transported to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.
OPP's Almaguin Highlands detachment confirmed Sunday that the collision remains under investigation with support from the traffic incident management enforcement team.
'Further details will be released as they become available,' police said in a news release.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the circumstances of the crash, the identities of those involved or if any charges are pending.

Woman, 52, dies after house fire in Sipekne'katik: N.S. RCMP

The RCMP said fire services and EHS were called to a structure fire on Tuff Street near Burma Road on Sunday around 12:25 a.m. Police say when officers arrived at the scene, the home was fully engulfed in flames. After the fire was extinguished, RCMP say firefighters located one person deceased inside the home. According to a RCMP release, criminality is not believed to be a factor. The investigation is ongoing and is being assisted by the Nova Scotia Fire Marshal's Office and the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service. Two suspects sought in Grey Highlands break-and-enter

Grey Bruce OPP are looking for two suspects wanted in connection with a break-and-enter on Valley Crescent in Grey Highlands. The incident took place early Monday morning between 4:10 a.m. and 4:20 a.m. Officers said two people went into a home and confronted the occupants, before they ran from the scene. One person was assaulted, according to OPP, and sustained minor injuries. Several items were also stolen from the home. Police arrived on scene after a neighbour called police. The suspects left the home before officers arrived on scene. The investigation is ongoing. Any residents in the Valley Crescent area are asked to check their security cameras or dashcams for suspicious activity between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Monday.
