More Samsung Galaxy S25 FE renders leak, some contradictory specs too
These come courtesy of British retailer Tesco listing the phone on its website. It will also come in "Icy Blue", by the way. Interestingly, the listing claims the S25 FE is powered by the same Exynos 2400e SoC as its predecessor, despite countless recent rumors claiming it would get a slight upgrade to the Exynos 2400.
Samsung Galaxy S25 FE renders
This is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. The display is a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED, while on the rear there are once again three cameras: a 50 MP main, a 12 MP ultrawide, and an 8 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom.
The battery is listed at 4,900 mAh with support for 45W wired charging. The S25 FE will run Android 16 from day one, with Samsung's One UI 8 on top.
Keep in mind that premature listings like this one aren't always entirely accurate when it comes to specs. Hopefully Samsung will make the Galaxy S25 FE official already, so we can find out all about it straight from the horse's mouth. We may however have to wait more than a month still, according to the latest rumor on the matter.

Honor's fashion-forward foldable may arrive as soon as this month
Honor appears ready to launch its latest clamshell foldable, the Magic V Flip 2, as early as next week. The phone is set to compete with Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 7 and has a fashion-focused design created in collaboration with Jimmy Choo. The information comes from leaker Fixed Focus Digital, who claims the Magic V Flip 2 could debut on August 19 or 20. While Honor has yet to confirm the date, this would align with its recent release patterns. The device follows the launch of the larger Honor Magic V5 in China last month, making it Honor's second foldable release of the year. Jimmy Choo, co-founder of the luxury shoe brand, shared sketches of the Magic V Flip 2 on Instagram. The back cover is said to feature a detailed crystal inlay that reflects light as the phone folds and unfolds. Choo described the design as a blend of modern technology and traditional artistry, intended to showcase elegance and confidence. — Jimmy Choo, Fashion Designer. This is not the first time Honor has worked with Choo, but it remains an unusual pairing in the smartphone market. Fashion-themed editions can draw attention, yet they typically appeal to a smaller audience. Samsung has, in the past, collaborated with several brands for bespoke versions of their devices. An example of this was the Thom Browne version of the Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold, which featured the designer's signature gray, white, and red stripe aesthetic. As to what we can expect from the Magic V Flip 2, leaked specifications suggest that will include a 5,500 mAh battery and support 80W wired charging. It is not expected to run on Qualcomm's top Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 considered more likely. Samsung's clamshell foldables have led the market for several years, offering strong global sales and consistent software support. To compete, Honor will need to match its design work with competitive pricing, reliable performance, and good camera quality. From a consumer perspective, the Jimmy Choo design adds a unique visual element, but its real test will be in daily use. Battery life, durability, and user experience will ultimately matter more than the phone's appearance if Honor hopes to make a lasting impact in the foldable market.

Samsung to invest more than $7 billion into chip packaging in the US
Ro, 11 August 2025 After some hiccups with Samsung's chip manufacturing business in the last couple of years, the company is now determined to regain ground in the segment. Ahead of the South Korea-USA summit on August 25, Samsung is said to invest an additional $7.2 billion into its chip manufacturing facilities in the USA. The investment will go into an advanced chip packaging facility in addition to the planned $37 billion investment into chip manufacturing. Samsung plans to produce 2nm and 4nm chips to meet demand from new clients such as Apple and Tesla. It's also a way to avoid Trump's tariffs. The company's original plan included a $44 billion investment, but at the time, the demand for Samsung chips was low, so the Korean tech giant decided to drop the chip packaging facility altogether. Now, it's back on the menu. The information isn't officially confirmed, but it looks like the company will announce it during the summit on August 25. Samsung believes it can outperform the competition in the US because it offers a complete manufacturing solution - chip production, chip packaging, and memory chip manufacturing. TSMC, for example, only offers chip manufacturing and packaging, while SK Hynix only does memory chips. Samsung's Taylor Fab 1 is almost done, and the construction is planned to be complete by the end of this year. However, the equipment needed for chip manufacturing will be installed next year. Source
