Popular TV series that has fans ‘screaming' set to return for another season
Popular TV soap Beyond The Gates has been renewed for a second series, much to the joy of excited fans.
The show premiered on CBS in February 2025 and is already a hit among viewers.
It follows a number of wealthy families living in a gated community in an affluent African-American suburb of Maryland, and is the first show of its kind to focus on a Black family in 35 years.
In recent episodes, a cascade of betrayals left the Dupree family reeling, and fans 'screaming'.
Having already aired 50 episodes, the future of Beyond The Gates has now been confirmed.
Posting a short clip to Instagram with the caption, 'Here's a little treat to start your week. You're welcome,' CBS confirmed that the show will return for a second season.
The news has thrilled fans, who took to social media to share their joy.
'From the talented actors and actresses, to the creative writers, and even the hair/makeup/wardrobe department, Beyond The Gates has EARNED that renewal!!' One fan wrote on Twitter/X.
'Beyond The Gates season 2 so excited and so well deserved this show is the best show on daytime tv right now period!!' Another said, while a third added: 'Love this new soap so much.' More Trending
The cast of the US soap are also delighted, with Martin Richardson star Brandon Claybon sharing his gratitude.

Major EastEnders exit as Bobby Brazier quits after four years
After four years on Albert Square, Bobby Brazier is set to leave EastEnders. The actor and Strictly Come Dancing 2023 runner-up has been inundated with job offers since reaching the final of the BBC dance show, so he's striking while the iron is hot and moving on to pastures new. Bobby, 22, who plays Freddie Slater in the soap, will bow out later this year. An EastEnders spokesperson confirmed to Metro: 'We can confirm that Bobby Brazier will be leaving EastEnders, and we wish him all the best for the future.' Meanwhile, an insider explained that the pieces just happened to fall into place with regard to storylines and Bobby's plans. The source told The Sun: 'Bosses had a meeting with Bobby only recently as they had a plan in mind for a storyline, and it just so happened that Bobby was also thinking that now was the right time to look for other opportunities outside the show. 'The timing of the decision worked for both, but his final scenes are not for a while yet. 'The character has had a great run, but the time is now right for Bobby to look for other opportunities, and for EastEnders to wave goodbye to Freddie Slater.' Bobby has proven to be a real hit with EastEnders viewers since he joined, taking home the National Television Award for rising star last year. Freddie first appeared in 2004, and he is the son of Graham Foster and Little Mo Slater. Bobby then made his EastEnders debut by taking over the role from Alex and Tom Kilby, who last portrayed the character in 2006 when Freddie left with his mum to start a new life. His return came when Freddie attended the wedding of his aunt, Kat Slater, and Phil Mitchell. Since, his most memorable moments have included when he beat Theo Hawthorne unconscious with an iron and punched him multiple times, having confronted Theo for pretending to be his father. Freddie was also given an ADHD diagnosis with the help of his old schoolteacher. When he joined EastEnders, Bobby, whose mum is the late Jade Goody, said: 'Stepping into the acting world has always been a vision of mine, and doing that with EastEnders as a Slater is a blessing. 'I'm very grateful.' Executive producer Chris Clenshaw also said: 'Freddie Slater is a chaotic 18-year-old with a sensitive soul. A modern-day lad who's in touch with his spiritual side.' He called Bobby 'an amazing young addition to the EastEnders cast, who brings heart and humility to the role'. In recent months, Bobby has reached new heights of stardom, confessing to the Daily Mail that he had 'spent lots of money' after his Strictly success. He also laughed when quizzed about rumours that he was set for Hollywood after impressing the nation with his performance abilities. The series 12 Love Island stars are beginning their fame journey - but two of the boys hard to recognise in pre-villa pics before undergoing hair transplants Love Island stars Ben Holbrough and Harry Cooksley look unrecognisable in pre-villa pics, as both have revealed they've undergone a hair transplant. Ben, 23, underwent the treatment at the age of 22, just one year before heading into the Love Island villa, while 30-year-old Harry travelled to Turkey to have the procedure at 24. Both Islanders have played a huge part in the shows drama this series, despite only being in the villa for a matter of days. On the first night, Ben, who was coupled up with Shakira, was stolen by American bombshell Toni. This left Shakira with just 24 hours to form a connection with another Islander. She struck up a connection with Harry, who was originally coupled up with Sophie - who was brutally dumped from the villa on day 2. However, Shakira and Toni may struggle to recognise their partners in pics before their hair transplants. Before and after results for Ben can be seen in a video posted by 360 Hair Clinic, in Brighton. Before his appearance in the villa, the clinic posted a video of his journey explaining: "Ben's hair transplant journey was facilitated by us at 360 Hair Clinic, supported by our ongoing treatment plans and 360 Optimum Hair products to maintain thickness, strength, and natural-looking results." In a separate post, the clinic posted a six month update, in which Ben's dark hair could be seen getting thicker and fuller. Harry on the other hand, travelled to Turkey around six years ago for his operation - which he called the "perfect experience." In a YouTube video from the clinic documenting his journey, the star said: 'It was a perfect experience for something that I really wanted to have done and I'm very glad that I found EstePera.' Showing off the before and after results, Harry looked completely unrecognisable with no hair. It looks like it's set to be another dramatic night for Harry tonight as he finds out Blu and Shakira shared a kiss. It's Dejon who spills the tea, as he tells his friend: 'You know he (Blu) kissed her (Shakira)?' A shocked Harry then replies: 'No he didn't…I don't believe what I'm hearing.' Harry then asks Shakira about the kiss with Blu before telling her: 'All that matters is I want to pursue things with you.'
