David Hasselhoff set to undergo knee replacement surgery

Perth Now08-05-2025

David Hasselhoff is set to undergo knee surgery next week.
The 'Baywatch' legend, 72, was snapped in photos obtained by the Daily Mail being pushed through the airports in Cancun and Los Angeles in a wheelchair on Monday (05.05.25).
And now a representative for the star has confirmed The Hoff required assistance as he's set to undergo knee replacement surgery.
They told Us Weekly: 'He was seen in a wheelchair because he's having a knee replacement surgery next week."
The actor was previously fitted with a defibrillator implant to prevent heart issues.
Hasselhoff being pictured in a wheelchair comes two months after his ex-wife Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff tragically passed away by suicide.
The actress - who had Taylor, 34, and Hayley, 32, with Hasselhoff - was found dead at her Los Angeles home on March 5.
Hasselhoff requested privacy for their family at the time.
He said: "Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff.
"We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time."
Pamela was found dead at her $2 million Hollywood Hills home from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Authorities were alerted after family members grew concerned when they had not heard from her for several days.
Paramedics responded to a call reporting an unconscious woman shortly after 10pm Wednesday night. No suicide note was found at the scene.
Pamela's career included roles in 'The Young and the Restless', 'The Fall Guy' and 'Sirens', but she had stepped away from acting in recent years.
She was laid to rest in Los Angeles on March 29, however, it's reported that Hasselhoff did not attend the funeral at Bel Air Presbyterian Church.

Nia Sanchez and Daniel Booko welcome fourth child

Nia Sanchez and her husband Daniel Booko have become parents for the fourth time. The Valley stars have welcomed a daughter named Adelaide Nicole - who joins elder siblings Asher, three, and one-year-old twins Isabelle and Zariah - and the couple shared the first picture of their little girl in a post on social media in which they declared they are "absolutely in love" with the new arrival. In a message posted on Instagram. they wrote: "Sweet little memories from Adelaide's first moments of life. We are absolutely in love! Birth story coming soon." The pair told Us Weekly they gave their daughter the middle name Nicole to honour Nia's mother, who shares the same name, because she's been such a huge help raising their family. Nia also revealed Adelaide's birth was much more "intimate" than her previous experiences in the delivery room. She told the publication: "The first moments with baby no. four felt so sweet and intimate. "In our previous birth experiences, we've had a lot more people in the room. And we've always had a doula. This time, it was just us with our doctor and two nurses. This birth was extra special because Danny was able to deliver the baby." The family recently moved into a new home in Santa Clarita, California and they are were unpacking at the time Adelaide arrived. Nia said: "We moved in about two and a half weeks before baby no. four arrived. We still have boxes everywhere and are not quite settled. But it feels great to have so much more space and a beautiful backyard for our children to play in." Nia went on to reveal she now feels as if their family is complete and they probably won't be having any more children. She explained: "This pregnancy definitely felt like a full circle moment for us. We had always talked about either wanting two children or four. 'When we skipped the line to three kids [after having twins], we began discussing no. four shortly after. We both come from families of four, so having four little ones of our own feels very full circle ... "I am really looking forward to watching all of my children grow up and be so close. We love creating special memories with our children and are excited to now do that as a family of six."

Hugh's ex ‘disturbed' by new flame's shock act before split

Hugh Jackman's ex-wife was left 'extremely disturbed' by the actions of his now-girlfriend Sutton Foster in the lead up to her marriage breaking down, it has been revealed. An insider claims Broadway star Foster attempted to befriend Deborra-Lee Furness — even proposing to go on double dates with her and Hugh. Furness, 69, is reportedly furious with Foster's bid to get close and now, in hindsight, sees it as a red flag. She 'cannot forgive' Foster, the insider said, and wants her to accept her share of the blame for the break-up. 'The fact that Sutton used to go on double dates and tried so hard to befriend Deb is extremely disturbing to her,' the insider told the Daily Mail. 'She will never have anything to do with Sutton. 'Deb is friends with Sutton's ex and they both share a deep sense of betrayal.' Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness in happier times. It is believed Jackman and Furness' marriage began to unravel during COVID and collapsed after Jackman and Foster starred together in the hit Broadway revival of The Music Man from 2021 to 2023. Furness filed for divorce on May 23 and has since been open about her heartbreak. 'My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal,' she said in a statement released to Daily Mail. 'It's a profound wound that cuts deep, however I believe in a higher power and that God/the universe, whatever you relate to as your guidance, is always working for us.'This belief has helped me navigate the breakdown of an almost three-decade marriage. 'It can hurt, but in the long run, returning to yourself and living within your own integrity, values and boundaries is liberation and freedom.' Furness is now reportedly planning to publish a tell-all 'divorce diary'. 'Deb's been desperate to have her side of the story out there,' a source told Woman's Day. 'She's been writing down all her thoughts, the good and the bad, and logging every detail of this ugly roller-coaster divorce. 'As soon as her lawyers allow it, she will be talking to publishers about a deal.' Jackman is yet to release a statement about the divorce but is believed to be 'extremely disappointed' in Furness' allegations about 'betrayal'.

Phoebe Bishop's ‘shattered' mum reacts after 17-year-old's housemates charged with her murder

Pheobe's Bishop's mother says her world has been 'shattered' after the 17-year-old's housemates were charged with her murder. Her remains are yet to be found and Kylie Johnson has begged anyone with information about Pheobe's final resting place to come forward. Queensland Police charged James Wood, 34, and Tamika Bromley, 33, with one count each of murder and two counts each of interfering with a corpse. Mr Wood had been initially taken into custody on Tuesday but was released without charge on Wednesday, before police formally charged him and Ms Bromley on Thursday. 'Our world has just been shattered into the most horrific place I've ever been…' Ms Johnson wrote in a social media post. 'I need my baby home to put her to rest! I'm absolutely begging anyone that knows anything to come forward. 'WE need to put her to rest, we need to put her to peace.' Pheobe's disappearance has gripped Australia for more than three weeks and made headlines around the world as police combed bushland and appealed to the public for help to find her. Mr Wood and Ms Bromley were living with Pheobe in a rundown, garbage-strewn house in the small Queensland town of Gin Gin when she vanished. The pair claimed they dropped her to Bundaberg airport in their grey Hyundai ix35 before she vanished on May 15. But police say CCTV at the airport proved she never made it. Hours before he was arrested on Tuesday, reports emerged of text messages allegedly sent by Mr Wood giving his version of events leading up to Pheobe going missing. He claimed Pheobe had been 'furious' when she slept through her 5am alarm on the day she was meant to fly out. 'She gets like that sometimes and usually we can calm her down but she was escalating and then she smashed the TV,' Mr Wood told the Daily Mail . He said on the way to the airport Pheobe got upset that she hadn't had time to put on makeup so they car pulled over less than a 1km from the airport entrance. Mr Wood said he and Ms Bromley went for a walk lasting between three and eight minutes to give Pheobe 'five minutes' to do 'what she needed to do'. When they returned, she was gone, Mr Wood claimed. Their Gin Gin house and their Hyundai were both declared crime scenes early on in the police investigation. The pair are due to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Friday June 6.
