2025 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Odds: Ashton Jeanty Tops the Board
It appears Ashton Jeanty is the early favorite to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, with Cameron Ward trailing closely behind.
The Las Vegas Raiders selected the talented running back from Boise State with the No. 6 overall pick, while Ward was chosen by the Tennessee Titans with the No. 1 overall pick.
Which player will claim this prestigious award?
Let's look at the OROY betting board at DraftKings Sportsbook as of June 24.
2025-26 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds:
Ashton Jeanty, Raiders: +250 (bet $10 to win $35 total)Cameron Ward, Titans: +350 (bet $10 to win $45 total)
Travis Hunter: Jaguars: +1000 (bet $10 to win $110 total)
Omarion Hampton, Chargers: +1000 (bet $10 to win $110 total)
Tyler Shough, Saints: +1000 (bet $10 to win $110 total)
Tetairoa McMillan, Panthers: +1500 (bet $10 to win $160 total)
TreVeyon Henderson, Patriots: +1800 (bet $10 to win $190 total)
Quinshon Judkins, Browns: +1800 (bet $10 to win $190 total)
Shedeur Sanders, Browns: +2000 (bet $10 to win $210 total)
RJ Harvey, Broncos: +2000 (bet $10 to win $210 total)
With +250 odds, Jeanty leads the race early. The Heisman Trophy runner-up finished his final season at Boise State breaking school records for carries (374), yards (2,601) and touchdowns (29). He was just 27 yards shy of breaking Barry Sanders' 1988 record of 2,628 yards. Jeanty helped lead the Broncos to the 2024 College Football Playoff as the No. 3 seed.
Aside from a successful collegiate career, Jeanty is on track for a strong rookie campaign.
Coach Pete Carroll said, "Ashton is every bit what we hoped he would look like." "He's caught the ball well, done good stuff, taken everything seriously, terrific effort throughout. We made it a really big deal to him: Everyone's watching you. He's embraced that."
Second on the board is QB Cam Ward, who also had a significant collegiate career. In his graduate season, Ward set Miami's single-season record for passing yards (4,313) and touchdowns (39). The ACC Player of the Year became the first Heisman Trophy finalist from Miami since 2002, playing a crucial role in leading the Hurricanes to their first 10-win season since 2017. It is no surprise oddsmakers see the No. 1 overall pick as a contender to win the award.
Travis Hunter, Omarion Hampton and Tyler Shough all slot in next at +10000 to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Although he was drafted in the fifth round, the books view Browns QB Shedeur Sanders as a contender as well, with +2000 odds.

Diontae Johnson reveals reason he refused to enter game for Ravens that led to suspension
If Baltimore was too cold for Diontae Johnson, then he may have wanted to do a little bit more research on Cleveland weather before he signed with the Browns. Johnson, who played for three different teams during the 2024 season, admitted in an interview on the 'Sports & Suits' podcast earlier this month that he had refused to go into a game that the Ravens played on Dec. 1 against the Eagles, a Week 13 loss. The Baltimore area experienced a day in which the high was 44 degrees and the low was 21 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Advertisement Diontae Johnson looks on during the Browns mandatory minicamp on June 10, 2025. Getty Images 'End of the third going into the fourth, they were like, 'Tae, we need you,'' Johnson explained during the episode. 'I was like, 'Nah, I don't think it's a good idea for me.' Like, my legs are already ice cold and I didn't wanna go out there and put bad stuff on film.' The Ravens suspended Johnson for the following game after his refusal, and it eventually led to a breakup between the receiver, who Baltimore acquired from Carolina at the trade deadline, and the team with his release in mid-December. Advertisement He was picked up by the Texans and didn't last long there either, making it two games before he 'checked out mentally' after he said the Texans were prioritizing their younger guys for playing time. Johnson was cut after two games, and he reportedly became visibly upset and had to be calmed down by teammates after the playoff win over the Chargers, with the displeasure over his role leading to his release. Diontae Johnson looks on before the Ravens' win over the Browns on Nov. 7, 2024, in Baltimore. AP Advertisement Johnson signed with the Browns in April on a one-year, $1.7 million deal. Hopefully, Johnson has prepared himself for the cold weather this year, with average temps in Cleveland in December around 34 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

CBS Sports releases 'best, worst case scenarios' for MSU football this season
Michigan State football could be in for a very exciting fall on the gridiron or the bottom could completely fall out -- those are the best and worst case scenarios, per Tom Fornelli of CBS Sports. Fornelli did his annual best and worst case scenarios for each of the Big Ten teams in a recent article, and to no surprise, there is quite a bit variance for the Spartans. If you're looking at the bright side of things, Fornelli sees the Spartans being in contention for a College Football Playoff berth into November and finishing with a 9-3 record as the best case scenario for this upcoming season. On the flip side, the worst case scenario includes an early season loss to Boston College that essentially derails the year and results in the Spartans finishing 3-9. As I said, those are distant from each other meaning Michigan State has a wide variance for this upcoming season. Here's the positive best case scenario outlook from Fornelli: "Aidan Chiles shows development, and while his accuracy continues to be a problem, his decision-making improves tremendously, leading to far fewer turnovers. He also makes enough wow throws to fill social media with highlights. The Spartans knock off Michigan at home thanks to Chiles and a rapidly improving defense under Joe Rossi. A loss to Penn State in November ends the playoff dreams, but when Chiles announces he intends to return for 2026, the nation immediately begins hyping this program up as a 2026 dark horse." And here's the negative worst case scenario outlook: "Aidan Chiles continues to make bad decisions that lead to turnovers and continuously put the Michigan State defense in bad positions. An early loss to Boston College shakes the team's confidence a bit, and it craters following consecutive road losses to USC and Nebraska. Things only get worse down the stretch, and Chiles is benched before hitting the portal following the season, leading to a lot of question marks about Jonathan Smith's program heading into 2026." In reading through Fornelli's assessment, I really have no objections as I also consider Michigan State a true wildcard team for this upcoming season. I recently wrote about how the Spartans have the potential to reach the College Football Playoff if some key things go in their way this season. But I also fear they could hit some rough patches and be battling it out just to reach bowl eligibility again late in November. With any of these best and worst case scenario articles, it often lands somewhere in the middle. So with that being said, it sounds like Fornelli would peg Michigan State to be about a 6-6 team this upcoming season (maybe give or take one win). Getting to a bowl game is extremely important for the Spartans and Smith this upcoming fall, so they better get to six wins to keep this fanbase relatively happy. LSU Football Preview 2025: Tigers Season Prediction, Win Total Projection, Top Players
LSU Tigers Key to the Season Make more big defensive is LSU. It has among the best defensive backs in the country, but they're young and/or new. Last year's secondary wasn't awful, but the pass defense got roasted by USC at the beginning of the season, was ripped up in the win over Baylor in the end, and it only picked off six Tigers were 6-0 when coming up with an interception, and 3-4 when they didn't.
