Valerie Bertinelli Breaks Her Silence About Split from Ex Mike Goodnough 5 Months After News of Their Breakup
The celebrity chef took to Instagram on Monday, March 3, to share a sweet tribute to her ex, who dated for 10 months before sources confirmed the pair's split in November 2024.
'I met the @therealhoarse in person a year ago today and I am irreversibly changed by him for the better. I know I am becoming a much stronger and more benevolent human for having met him and spent time with him,' the Indulge cookbook author wrote about the professional writer.
She continued, explaining that she was initially 'attracted to his writing' before the pair actually met in person. 'It's heartfelt, authentic, smart, funny, sensitive, caring, and from the soul. And the way he puts words together is just sooo ridiculously beautiful. 🤩 I'm a big fan, can you tell?' Bertinelli said. 'And as luck would have it, the human being in person is exactly as heartfelt, authentic, sensitive and caring as his writing.
'I feel so lucky to have gotten to know him, and to really see him and soak up his insights. I value all of our long conversations and they have lead me to interesting and fascinating places I rarely thought to go. I look at life with a different perspective and caring because of my experiences and conversations with him. And he's been a big part of helping me heal from some old childhood wounds I never knew what to do with or even where to start,' she continued, calling for her followers to subscribe to Goodnough's newsletter, Hoarse Whisperings, and 'get the beautiful gift of what it's like to be in his orbit.'
She finished the caption by writing, 'Thank you, Mike, we may no longer be a couple, but you'll always hold a very special place in my heart. Love you. ♥️'

Tyler, The Creator Taps The Stunning Nia Long For ‘DARLING, I' Music Video
Source: Arturo Holmes / Getty Tyler, The Creator sent the internet into a tizzy on Aug. 19 after releasing the video for his 2024 single 'DARLING, I,' featuring Teezo Touchdown. The fun visual is loaded with a ton of star power, featuring cameos from singer Willow Smith, actresses Ayo Edibiri, Lauren London, and the breathtakingly beautiful Nia Long, who proves that Black certainly does not crack! The fun and colorful video follows Tyler as he gives his heart away to a few beautiful women. It kicks off with the Cali native riding around the city with Long, 54, as they get a little cozy in the back of a limo. At one point, the Hollywood veteran—who dons sleek straight hair, flawless skin, and fashionable glasses—pulls the rapper in close, seemingly about to plant a kiss on his cheek, but instead, sticks out her tongue and gives the 34-year-old hip-hop star a playful lick. The moment took social media users by surprise across YouTube and Instagram. 'Tyler flirting with Nia Long in the music video was not something I expected,' wrote one fan in the comments section of YouTube after the visual dropped Tuesday. We care about your data. See our privacy policy. 'Go head, Nia….oh man, you got all the eras of Black beautiful women in here, love it,' another penned. 'Nia long so fine,' a third added. The rapper continues to fall in and out of love with several of the previously mentioned stars. Among them are The Bear 's Edebiri, who receives flowers from Tyler, and Smith, who shares a playful photo booth moment with the 'See You Again' artist. Eventually, his affections shift to London. In a shocking twist, the rapper surprises the women with a gift, a live beating heart, still pumping blood outside the body, before finding his true forever partner at the end of the video. Notably, 'DARLING, I' is Tyler's infectious single off his 2024 album, Chromakopia , but he's moved on to new projects since. In July, the talented star dropped DON'T TAP THE GLASS , his ninth studio album. The project includes guest appearances from stars like Pharrell Williams and singers Madison McFerrin and Yebba. Kevin Costner is firing back at 'Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2' stuntwoman Devyn LaBella's sexual harassment lawsuit. The 'Yellowstone' actor, 70, filed a new motion in California Superior Court Tuesday to dismiss LaBella's May lawsuit against Costner that claims she was forced into an 'unscripted' rape scene on the set of his 2024 Western sequel. 'I can only assume that purpose was to use this sensationalistic language to embarrass and damage me and the 'Horizon' movies on an ongoing basis in order to gain a massive and unjustified payday,' Costner wrote. 'Equally as bad, having to read about and address allegations I know to be false involving the words 'rape' and 'assault' has been an absolute nightmare,' he added. 12 Kevin Costner steps out in London in 2014. Olivia Munn, John Mulaney Emotional Moment Pre-Mastectomy
Last year, Olivia Munn revealed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023. 'In the past 10 months I have had four surgeries, so many days spent in bed I can't even count, and have learned more about cancer, cancer treatment, and hormones than I ever could have imagined. Surprisingly, I've only cried twice. I guess I haven't felt like there was time to cry,' she wrote on Instagram as she revealed that she'd had a double mastectomy. Olivia — who recently revealed that her mom had also been diagnosed with breast cancer — has remained super open about her diagnosis, even flaunting her mastectomy scars during a partnership with Kim Kardashian's brand Skims. Now, in honour of World Breast Cancer Research Day, which was on August 18, Olivia has shared an emotional video of herself and husband John Mulaney moments before she underwent surgery. The intimate footage shows Olivia in a hospital bed, holding hands with John, who is wearing a surgical mask. The couple can be seen speaking to each other closely and pressing their foreheads together, with Olivia reaching out to stroke John's face at one point. Olivia wrote in the caption, 'This was May 2023 right before I was wheeled in for my double mastectomy, the first of 5 surgeries I would have in a determined battle to beat breast cancer.' 'Today is #WorldBreastCancerResearchDay. My breast cancer and my mother's breast cancer are both very aggressive, fast-moving cancers. And because of funding for breast cancer research we both had a path to survival,' she wrote before stating that she's currently on a treatment plan called endocrine therapy, which 'works to keep hormones from reaching cancer cells.' Olivia's touching post was met with heaps of support online. Actor Kerry Washington wrote, 'You're amazing,' while media personality Amanda Hirsch said, 'I love you so much my hero.' You can find more information about World Breast Cancer Research Day right here.
