Liam Neeson gushes over Pamela Anderson amid Hollywood stars' blossoming romance

It turns out, even Liam Neeson can't resist a plot twist.
The Taken star, 73, declared he was finished with dating in a candid People cover story last October — but fast-forward nine months, and he's reportedly in the 'early stages' of a romance with co-star Pamela Anderson.
According to a source from the set of The Naked Gun, the two are 'enjoying each other's company,' and 'it's sincere — they're clearly smitten.'
Their flirtation has been playing out in public, too.
On July 29, the pair shared a playful PDA moment during a Today show appearance, feigning surprise after being 'caught' mid-make-out by the cameras.
A week earlier, Anderson kissed Neeson's cheek at the film's London premiere.
The unexpected couple met filming the upcoming reboot of The Naked Gun (in cinemas August 1), where their chemistry reportedly extended beyond the script. But Anderson insists things stayed 'professionally romantic' during production.
'We had many dinners out with the cast,' she told Entertainment Weekly.
'I invited him and his assistant over for romantic dinners with me and my assistant — so our relationship stayed 'professionally romantic' during filming.'
Despite the slow burn, Neeson hasn't held back in his praise for the Baywatch star, telling People in 2024: 'I'm madly in love with her. She's just terrific to work with… funny, no ego, and so easy to be around.'
Anderson returned the affection, calling Neeson 'the perfect gentleman' who 'brings out the best in you with respect, kindness, and depth of experience.'
Neeson, who was married to actress Natasha Richardson until her tragic death in 2009, has previously dated Barbra Streisand, Brooke Shields, and Helen Mirren. Anderson's high-profile exes include Tommy Lee, with whom she shares two sons — Brandon, 29, and Dylan, 27.
The pair appeared together at The Naked Gun's New York premiere on July 28, smiling on the red carpet alongside their respective adult children — a fitting sign, perhaps, of something a little more serious.

Liam Neeson lashes out at tardy actors

Liam Neeson has hit out at actors who are late to set. The 73-year-old actor revealed he has heard 'disturbing stories' about stars who show up late for filming and insisted he would 'never work with those people'. He told Rolling Stone magazine: 'That's very important. I hear disturbing stories about actors and actresses who are very gifted, but show up on the set two, three, four hours late. I would never work with those people. I think it's so insulting. You have a crew of like 60, 70, 80 people waiting for you. The very least you can do is give them the respect by turning up on time.' Meanwhile, Liam has pivoted to comedy with his new movie Naked Gun and admitted he thinks his action hero days are now behind him. He told Variety: 'The first Taken was 18 years ago, I was 54. Feels like a lifetime ago. I still get offered the occasional one. But I'm 73, for f***'s sake. I don't want to insult audiences if they're watching whole fight scenes and it's not me. I just wouldn't do it. Up until recently, I liked doing my own fight stuff. But I don't want to be doing that stuff with a Zimmer frame or walking stick. Sure, there might be another one out there, but nothing definite on the horizon.' However, there is one genre of movie he will never do. He said: 'I'm a big believer in writers and the script. That's the foundation stone, no matter what the genre. Except horror. I won't do horror.'

Liam Neeson supports Pamela Anderson at final play performance

Liam Neeson and his son Daniel showed their support for Pamela Anderson at her final performance in Camino Real. The 58-year-old actress has been playing Marguerite Gaultier in the Tennessee Williams play in Williamstown, Massachusetts since late last month and her new boyfriend and Naked Gun co-star Liam showed up to support her at her last performance on Sunday (03.08.25), according to PEOPLE. Daniel's mother, Liam's wife Natasha Richardson, died in a skiing accident in 2009 aged 45, and Daniel recently admitted he is 'stanning' his father's new romance with Pamela. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live to promote Naked Gun, host Andy Cohen - who was a close friend of Natasha – revealed he and Daniel were both supportive of the relationship. Andy told the couple: 'The question that I'm not asking the two of you tonight is what's going on between the two of you, but I do just want to say, as a very old friend of [Liam's], all of your friends are very much stanning this relationship, as the kids say." As Liam put his hand on Pamela's shoulder and she reached to squeeze it, Andy then asked Daniel, who was sitting in the audience: "Right Danny?" Daniel, 28, replied: "Yes." And, Andy has said he can see similarities between the former Baywatch star and Natasha. Speaking on his SiriusXM radio show, he said: 'Natasha was a dear friend of mine and I'm gonna tell you something. I and all of the friends in this circle are very much stanning whatever this is. 'As I was telling him at the premiere party, I go, 'Liam, she is an independent woman just like Tash was. She loves to cook. She has her own thing going on. She has two boys.'' Andy insisted "this just works" as Pamela has been through a lot with her sex tape scandal and marriage to ex-husband Tommy Lee - with whom she has sons Brandon, 29, and 27-year-old Dylan - and managed to reinvent her career. He added: 'I mean, this just works, and you know, she is a formidable human being, Pamela Anderson. She really is. What she's been through and how she kind of reclaimed herself and redefined herself." Liam, 73 - who also has son Micheál Richardson, 30, with his late wife - previously confessed to being 'madly in love' with Pamela as he gushed about working with her. He told People magazine: 'With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her. She's just terrific to work with. I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with.'

Pamela Anderson's very surprising response to Meghan Markle 'rip off' cooking show as Baywatch star breaks silence on With Love, Meghan's similarities to her Cooking With Love

Pamela Anderson has finally broken her silence on claims Meghan Markle "ripped off" her cooking show. The Duchess of Sussex, 43, released her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan in March. Her show featured almost identical themes, language, and overall aesthetics to the Baywatch star's Cooking With Love on Foxtel. Fans of Pamela were livid to see Meghan parade around her kitchen decorated like the blonde bombshell, with both women making meals with famous chefs to share with family and friends at dinner parties. Pamela spoke to Andy Cohen on Sunday's Watch What Happens Live!, where the host asked her what she made of the copying claims. "On a scale from one to 10, how much of a rip-off did you feel like With Love, Meghan was of your show, Pamela's Cooking with Love?" he said. Pamela shut down the question and surprisingly defended Prince Harry's wife. "One. I didn't - I didn't really look, but I mean, I didn't invent cooking shows", adding Markle 'is just doing her thing'," she said. Pamela first teased Cooking With Love in February 2023 and shared the official trailer released last October, months before Meghan shared hers. Both series open with the stars strolling in a garden and admiring the crops before echoing each other's sentences. "I just always have wanted to take things to another level," Pamela said. Meanwhile, Meghan declared: "I've always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it." Pamela and Meghan also said they are reaping knowledge from the guest chefs, and both double high-fived their guests. The former Playboy model likened herself to a "sponge soaking it all in", adding, "I'm learning a lot". Similarly, Meghan tried her hand at beekeeping where she said she's "just learning." Eagle-eyed viewers took to X to say Pamela's series was "a more authentic version of what Meghan was trying to achieve." "And it looks as though Meghan has copied everything! The trailers are so similar it's freaky," one person wrote. Another viewer said "the Duchess of Plagiarism" had "copied" Pamela down to almost every scene. A third bemused fan added Meghan's cosplay of Pamela was unbelievable, and her ideas and words don't have "a dust of authenticity". "It's all fake, contrived, edited, scripted but still messy and shallow," they said. Nevertheless, other people said the Duchess was likely developing her trailer when Pamela released hers, making their similarities coincidental. It comes after Netflix last month decided not to renew the Sussexes' $100 million deal when it expires in September following a series of flops. New figures released by the streaming giant found With Love, Meghan failed to break into the top 300 shows. Meanwhile, just 500,000 people watched Harry's Polo project, described as an "unintentionally hilarious profile of the world's stupidest sport".
