Pete Wicks confesses he 'disliked' Sam Thompson's ex - 'I prefer him single'
Pete Wicks has admitted that he 'disliked' Sam Thompson's ex-girlfriend and that he 'prefers' him single following his split with former Love Island star Zara McDermott last year. Although Pete didn't specifically say the 'ex' was Zara, Sam and Zara did embark on a five-year relationship which started in 2019.
The TOWIE star, 36, had agreed to take part in a lie detector test where he was asked by Sam, 33, an array of revealing questions. In a teaser for the episode, which was posted on the Staying Relevant podcast Instagram page, Sam asked excitedly: "Do you like me more now that I am single?", to which Pete replied 'yes'.
Another question Sam asked was: "Have you disliked any of my previous partners?". Pete took a second to reply, before he laughed and admitted "yes', without revealing who in particular it was that he disliked. It comes after Princess Andre said she was 'independent' from her parents as she broke her silence after Katie Price row.
Fans went crazy in the comments section as one fan wrote: 'This is about to be pipppppping hot tea', while another said: 'You guys kill me!! I can't wait for this episode to drop!!'.
Made in Chelsea star Sam has had a rocky love life, which, most recently, saw him split with Love Island's Samie Elishi in June.
It was then reported by The Sun that he was dating nutritionist Steph Robinson and had grown close to Too Hot To Handle beauty Lucy Syed.
It follows after his long-term relationship with Zara McDermot which ended in December last year. They remained tight-lipped about the reasons behind their breakup, but shortly after Zara was spotted enjoying a cosy date with One Direction star Louis Tomlinson.
Zara and 33-year-old musician Louis were photographed at a hotel in Aldeburgh, Suffolk and have since confirmed their romance with a snap of them kissing. Zara smiled as she held his cheek and gave him a kiss. Louis looked happy as he held the camera.
Friends and fans were delighted with the social media milestone for Zara and rushed to share their happiness for the couple. "Yaaaay," Strictly Come Dancing's Tasha Ghouri wrote.
Ellie Louise Leach added: "Soooooo here for this," and another posted: "Love seeing you glowing and happy." One fan joked: "I'm so happy that my boyfriend has a girlfriend."
Elsewhere in the podcast teaser, Pete teases his own relationship as Sam asks him: 'Are you in love with somebody right now?'. Pete is then shown pulling a guilty face when asked the question and fans have to wait for the full episode to be released to know the answer.

'It's been f***ing nuts,' Yungblud, real name Dominic Harrison, tells me from his very posh suite in The Londoner Hotel. As I hug him with a glass of wine in hand, he laughs and tells me: 'Why the f***k not? I'll have a glass of champagne.' Dom, who Bizarre have championed since the release of his debut album in 2019, is always the most colourful, clever and captivating interviewee. And when we speak about his close friendship with Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy he is visibly moved. 'The past couple of weeks have been very weird to connect with,' Dom explains. 'You get to know someone personally, who you love. And then they leave. 'I was texting him, then his son Jack texted me and said, 'He's gone.' I'm like, 'What?' 'Being around the family and being at the funeral, the amount of love there. That family are real as f***k. 'The dream is to have kids and a family like that. There's no gimmicks. It's authentic.' Dom has now released his live version of Ozzy's 1972 solo hit Changes as a charity single to help raise money for Cure Parkinson's, Birmingham Children's Hospital, and Acorns Children's Hospice. He adds: 'The best thing is that I got to honour my hero. That's all I was thinking about. I was singing for one man there.' Are You Ready Boy?, was made in Berlin, with cameras following Dom and his band as they recorded a live version of Idols at the Hansa Studios where David Bowie and U2 laid down some of their famous albums. The footage is searingly honest and shows a different side to the brash, confident Yungblud who his fans adore. 'I will never watch it again, it's too uncomfortable,' Dom explains of the film, which will be shown in 150 cinemas nationwide between August 20 and 24. 'I was ready to make a film like this because I completely alleviated all control. 'When people have seen ten seconds of me on the internet, they think they know me. But I'm calm, I'm emotional, I'm angry in places, I'm very passionate. 'I think something like this in today's day and age, where you elongate the imagination, you let it be raw as f**k, is rare. In a series of candid interviews, Dom opens up about his decision to put their relationship on hold so he could focus on himself and making the record. I revealed this week that the pair are now back together. And Dom, it's clear to see, is a man who is very much in love. He says: 'Sacrificing Jesse Jo and the love bit, it's a very strange thing. 'I've never been in a real relationship in rock music — genuinely loving someone. We all know there's fing couples out there that do this for the media. 'Genuinely, we really love each other. It's so hard to navigate in rock music. When everyone's staring, everyone's got a perception, everyone's got a narrative 'Like when your narrative isn't yours, it's painted by how many views a video gets. The more views a video gets, the more truthful it is, you know. That was rough.' EastEnders star sparks exit fears after announcement amid devastating 'split'
Suki Panesar looked like she had lost everything in tonight's EastEnders as the character was exposed for her request to pregnant granddaughter Avani Nandra-Hart It was an emotional night for the Panesar/Gulati family in tonight's EastEnders, as Suki was 'disowned' by her whole family after the truth about Avani's pregnancy was revealed. Now fans fear we could be seeing an exit for the character - especially after the actor's recent Strictly announcement. Last night, Eve took Avani to get a termination without Suki's knowledge. In previous scenes, we had seen Suki asking Avani to keep the baby for herself and Eve to bring up. Although Avani was up for the plan at first, she later disclosed to Eve that she had changed her mind. In tonight's episode, the aftermath of the revelation continued, with Ravi and Priya unleashing their fury onto Suki for her actions. An angry Priya even went as far as to slap Suki across the face, but that wasn't the least of her troubles. Later on in the episode, she took Avani to hospital after she was experiencing heavy bleeding, and once again met a furious Ravi and Priya in the hospital corridors. As she left them alone to make their way back home, Suki was left with even more panic when she found her grandson Nugget and son Vinny packing their things to move out the house. However, they weren't the only ones, as wife Eve also had the same idea. A tearful Eve then called out Suki for opening her up to the hurt of losing out on motherhood - something she had never been open to in the past. "I don't know what we've got left anymore," Eve said as she made her way out the door, leaving Suki in tears. Now, fans fear a split between one of their favourite couples - especially as it was recently announced actor Balvinder Sopal would be appearing on this year's Strictly Come Dancing. "Oh dear! Is Suki about to have a #strictly sized break after a massive argument with Eve?" said one fan on X, formerly known as Twitter, while another said: "Don't think #SukEve will survive this!" A third said: "I think the suki and avani storyline is a build up to suki temporary exit for strictly and also maybe the reveal of joel recording avani..." But is this the end of SukEve as we know it? With nothing left in Walford for Suki - will she be making a sharp exit? When Balvinder's Strictly announcement was made, many fans were convinced the character would be leaving for an extended period of time. Many believed she would go off to visit her daughter Ash in Canada to try and make amends after the rest of her family has ultimately disowned her. However, the actor revealed she'd still be working alongside Strictly rehearsals, as she said: "I'll still be working here so I'll be doing two jobs. I don't know how I'm going to handle it.
