Bang Showbiz | Los Angeles Jason Momoa thinks his son Nakoa-Wolf Momoa is in for a 'rude awakening' with his first movie role in Dune: Part Three.
The 16-year-old actor is set to make his screen debut in director Denis Villeneuve's upcoming sci-fi blockbuster as Paul Atreides' (Timothee Chalamet) son Leto II, and his famous dad has admitted he's in for quite the surprise when production begins.
Speaking with Extra, Jason, 45, said of Nakoa-Wolf: 'A rude awakening is what he's in for. He's into the workforce for the first time. It's going to be good. He did it on his own.'
The A Minecraft Movie star added he didn't want to 'help' his son with the job as he wants Nakoa-Wolf to be 'better' than him.
Jason added: 'I don't want to help him, and he's done it all on his own, and good for him.
'You want your children to be better than you, and I really, actually believe he is. I couldn't do what he's doing at his age.
'There's no way I could sit in a room with Denis Villeneuve and hold my own. I was on Baywatch at 19. He's 16 and holding shit down with Denis Villeneuve.'
The Aquaman actor – who also has daughter Lola, 17, with his wife Lisa Bonet – concluded Nakoa-Wolf was 'very confident'.
He said: 'We raised him beautiful. We raised our children … It's just, you know, being loved and being confident in themselves … That is what he is. He's very confident.'
Nakoa-Wolf will be joined by Silo Star Ida Brooke, who will be playing his twin sister Ghanima in Dune: Part Three.
The young actor will also be starring alongside his father, who is set to reprise his role as a resurrected Duncan Idaho - known as a ghola.
Dune: Part Three will see the return of Zendaya's Chani, Florence Pugh's Princess Irulan, Rebecca Ferguson's Lady Jessica, Javier Bardem's Stilgar, and Josh Brolin's Gurney Halleck.
Robert Pattinson is also said to be in the running for the antagonist role of Scytale - a Face Dancer and secret agent of the Bene Tleilax who plays a central role in Dune: Messiah as part of a conspiracy to overthrow Paul Atreides.

Heidi Klum ‘doesn't worry about age-shaming'

Bang Showbiz | Los Angeles Heidi Klum thinks society has become 'more welcoming of wrinkles'. The 52-year-old model has suggested that attitudes towards ageing have changed in recent years, observing that it's now 'okay to be older'. Heidi told People: 'I feel like we're more welcoming of wrinkles and rolls on our body. Being accepted at every age is amazing. That we've changed and come all that way.' Heidi doesn't have any fears of 'age-shaming or body-shaming'. She shared: 'For me to be older, it doesn't matter. I don't have this age-shaming or body-shaming thing. I feel like everyone should do what they want to do. I like to run around sexy — even now at 52.' Heidi actually loves posting sexy photos of herself on social media. The model suggested that she's been posting so-called thirst traps since before social media was invented. She said: 'I've been photographing nude or in lingerie since 1992, way before Instagram. 'So for me, it's nothing new. For the past 15 years, other people are now doing what I've been doing for 30 years. Instead of being in my little bottoms in a magazine, I'm on Instagram. It's the same thing.' The model has also encouraged other women to not 'hide' once they reach 50. She said: 'The biggest misconception [about] being in your 50s is that you are off the shelf. You're not off the shelf. We are very much on that shelf for everyone to see. 'Don't hide in your 50s. Beauty is ever- changing, and I'm here for the change. If it's always the same, life is boring.'

Pro wrestling legend Hulk Hogan dead at 71

Bang Showbiz | Los Angeles Hulk Hogan, the 1980s icon of professional wrestling who helped propel the low-budget spectacle into the global spotlight and parlayed his prowess in the ring into pop culture stardom, died Thursday. He was 71. Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, was pronounced dead at a Florida hospital after emergency personnel responded to a cardiac arrest call at his home in Clearwater, police said. The Hall of Fame talent -- known for his towering 6'7' (two-meter) physique, bandana and blond handlebar mustache -- was ubiquitous during his heyday, acting in film and television, appearing in video games and promoting a range of products. He also courted his share of controversy, first when a sex tape featuring him leaked, and again when a recording of him using racist language, including a slur referring to Black Americans, resurfaced in 2015. In recent years, Hogan became an avid supporter of US President Donald Trump. 'One of pop culture's most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s,' World Wrestling Entertainment said on social media. 'WWE extends its condolences to Hogan's family, friends, and fans.' Hogan's wrestling skills and magnetic personality as a heroic all-American in the ring transformed the sport into mainstream family entertainment, attracting millions of viewers and turning the league into a multi-billion-dollar empire. 'Hulk Has Been By My Side Since We Started In The Wrestling Business. An Incredible Athlete, Talent, Friend, And Father!' fellow Hall of Famer Ric Flair said on social media.
