YouTuber Takes Hayabusa In Pangong Lake For Views. Law Comes Knocking
The action came after Ali Aalyan Iqbal posted pictures and videos of the stunts in Leh on his Instagram account.
Iqbal has been booked under Sections 125 and 292 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023. Section 125 of BNS deals with acts endangering life or the personal safety of others, while Section 292 refers to public nuisance in cases not otherwise specified.
"A domestic tourist was booked U/S 125 & 292 of BNS 2023 for dangerously riding a bike in restricted zones of Pangong Lake & Nubra sand dunes, endangering Ladakh's fragile ecosystem," the Leh police posted on their official X account.

Iqbal, known for his biking and bodybuilding videos, was seen riding his Suzuki Hayabusa and Kawasaki Ninja superbikes in Leh. In one of the videos, he is seen riding through the Nubra sand dunes, where his bike gets stuck and kicks up clouds of sand.

In another clip, he is seen riding a Hayabusa and posing shirtless. One of his posts has multiple pictures in which he is seen performing headstands on the top of his bikes in Pangong Lake.

Earlier, a couple from Jaipur was booked and a bond of Rs 50,000 was taken from them for driving a Toyota Fortuner SUV on sand dunes in Hunder in Nubra Valley.
At the time, the district police urged tourists not to drive on the dunes, for it damages the natural landscape and violates the prohibitory orders.

Dalit man attacked for sporting moustache, beard
Rajkot: A 27-year-old Dalit man was allegedly beaten up and subjected to casteist slurs by five people from the upper caste community in a village of Junagadh district, reportedly for sporting a moustache and a beard. The incident took place on Aug 11 in Vajli village of Visavadar taluka and came to light after the victim, Sagar Makwana, lodged a complaint with the Visavadar police station on Tuesday. Makwana's father-in-law was seriously injured in the attack. In the complaint lodged from his bed in the Junagadh Civil Hospital, Makwana named Shailesh Jebaliya, Lalo Bhupat Kathi Darbar, and three unidentified men. According to case details, Makwana, who resides in Manganath Pipli village, was towing his motorcycle after the vehicle broke down. As he was dragging the bike, Jebaliya and Bhupat confronted him, expressing their anger at him sporting a moustache and beard. They started hurling casteist abuses at him and warned him not to sport a look like people from the upper caste community, the FIR states. As the confrontation escalated and the three started beating him, Makwana managed to escape and reach his father-in-law Jivan Karsan's house, which was close by. Karsan advised that they talk to Jebaliya as he lived in the same village and resolve the issue. When they approached Jebaliya, Bhupat reached there in a car with three others. The five subjected the two men to casteist abuse and then assaulted them. As locals gathered at the spot, the assailants fled the scene. Villagers rushed the injured duo to the hospital, where Karsan's condition is said to be serious. Assistant superintendent of police (Visavadar) Rohit Kumar said, "The accused live in the same village as that of the complainant's father-in-law. A team has been formed to apprehend them, and they will be arrested soon. Makwana is a farm labourer." Police have registered a case under BNS sections of assault, unlawful assembly, rioting, and others, along with relevant provisions of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Youth held for sexually assaulting minor after befriending her on Instagram
A 21-year-old man from Mahbubnagar district was arrested by Balanagar police for sexually assaulting and impregnating a 16-year-old girl he befriended on Instagram. The accused, identified as Hari Krishna, completed his Bachelor of Arts degree, and was engaged in agricultural work in his village. Police said the two became acquainted on the platform about six months ago. On May 13, he met the girl near a secluded spot in IDPL Township, where he allegedly assaulted her twice. The matter came to light after the girl complained of stomach pain, and a hospital examination confirmed she was pregnant. A case was booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and further investigation is under way. The accused was remanded to judicial custody on August 11.

SIT likely to get custody of accused in Kothamangalam woman's death case by Monday
The nine-member special investigation team (SIT) led by Muvattupuzha Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) constituted to probe the death of a 23-year-old woman in Kothamangalam took stock of the progress of the probe on Wednesday. The focus is now on collecting statements from friends, relatives, and others who qualify as witnesses and sifting through the call detail records of the victim and the accused. The investigation team is likely to get the custody of the accused by Monday. Notwithstanding the clamour for arraigning the parents of the accused, Rameez, who has since been arrested and remanded in judicial custody for alleged abetment to suicide and attempted forcible religious conversion, the investigation team has not summoned them yet. 'We found enough evidence for charging the accused with abetment to suicide, sexual relationship through deceitful means, and voluntarily causing hurt, based on which he was arrested. As for the allegations against the parents, we will look into them during the course of our investigation,' said the police. The SIT was constituted after the police came under pressure from parents of the victim and right-wing political parties who dubbed the deceased as a victim of attempted forcible religious conversion. The Kothamangalam police, who initially probed the case, had ruled that out as they found it to be a case of a failed affair. Dissatisfied with the police investigation, the family of the victim on Tuesday petitioned the Chief Minister and the State Police Chief demanding a probe by the National Investigation Agency. They accused the police of invoking lenient charges against the accused and demanded that he and his parents be charged for attempted forcible religious conversion. The victim was found hanging in her house at Kothamangalam on Saturday (August 9, 2025). Initially, the Kothamangalam police registered a case for unnatural death. However, they stumbled up on a note, reportedly written by the victim, during the preparation of mahazar on Sunday, based on which Rameez was arrested the next day. The accused was booked under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Sections 69 (sexual intercourse by employing deceitful means etc), 108 (abetment to suicide), and 115 (voluntarily causing hurt).
