Wednesday season 2 theory 'seals' Enid's heartbreaking death
The second season of 'Wednesday' is set to premiere on Netflix on August 6, and the latest trailer reveals a chilling psychic vision experienced by Wednesday Addams, portrayed by Jenna Ortega.
In her vision, she sees the grave of her best friend and roommate, Enid Sinclair (played by Emma Myers), and shockingly, it seems that Wednesday is to blame for her demise.
"Enid dies, and it's all my fault," she is heard uttering. With Enid's life hanging in the balance, Wednesday is thrust into a race against time to save her.
Following the release of this heart-wrenching trailer, fans have flocked to Reddit to speculate whether Enid will indeed meet her end.
Reddit user Mishtimihu theorises that Wednesday's foreknowledge of Enid's potential fate will "really mess with her", leading to a rift between the two friends, reports the Express.
They elaborated: "My theory is that she gets this vision early in the season and it really messes with her. She doesn't tell Enid right away because she's scared and trying to figure it out on her own. She starts pulling away, thinking maybe she's the cause of Enid's future death.
"Enid notices. She was excited to see Wednesday after the break, but Wednesday acts distant and cold. Feeling rejected and confused, Enid starts getting closer to Bruno, who's just there for her. And yeah, he looks a lot like Wednesday, which makes the whole situation more complicated.
"Eventually, probably near the end of Part 1, they have a fight. Enid calls her out for shutting her out. And that's when Wednesday finally tells her about the vision. Maybe not even on purpose, she just blurts it out during the argument. Something like, 'I saw your grave. I thought I'd get you killed if I stayed close'.
"Enid's hurt. Not just about the vision, but because Wednesday didn't trust her with it sooner. She walks away. Then the part ends on a cliffhanger, possibly with something off about Bruno that raises questions."
ItsThe_____ForMe proposed that Enid's destiny will likely serve as the dramatic cliffhanger bridging the first and second parts of the series.
Raylalayla contributed: "I think that's probably mostly right. Enid will either die or find out about her incoming death in episode 4 and I also think that's when Tyler might escape."
Fellow viewer Icy_Gene_7574 theorised that Wednesday's dark tears shown in the trailer represent her grief over Enid's demise.
Speculation has emerged that the black tears vision relates to emotional turmoil, with one fan explaining: "As for Enid, if she passes away it would all be Wednesday's fault cause Wednesday is the one who cracks cases and solves mysteries and she drags Enid. I think that's why she cries black tears for Enid."

Stranger Things fans 'figure out who's going to die' after season 5 trailer
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Stranger Things fans think they may have worked out which characters are set to die in season five. The trailer for the fifth and final season of Netflix's Stranger Things was released earlier this week, and fan theories have been coming in thick and fast about how the show will be wrapped up. The series has shown over the years that it's not afraid to kill off a lovable character or two – RIP to Eddie Munson and Dr Alexei. However, usually the show will introduce a character in a series for the audience to fall in love with them, and then kill them off. This has saved them from getting rid of any of the main cast. But, this said, the upcoming season is going to be the last, so is it finally time to kill off some of the main cast? After watching the trailer, fans think they know who's going to be killed off…Steve Harrington. The trailer two-and-a-half-minute trailer, opens on Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) who is tinkering with a device in a van, before ominously proclaiming 'burn commencing in five, four, three, two, and…' The camera flicks to all our major players, including Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Winona Ryder as Joyce, Maya Hawke as Robin and Natalie Dyer as Nancy all in a room together with grim expressions on their face. Across the internet, Steve's death is a leading theory among fans, with some pointing to Nancy crying in the trailer. 'People saying Nancy was crying bc either Jonathan or Steve dies imagine having Steve Harrington die around the holidays,' said itslydiaaaa on X. 'I SWEAR TO GOD THAT NANCY CRYING SCENE IF STEVE DIES I SWEAR,' said maxcrzzz. Of course, Nancy crying could mean that any number of characters have died, including her close family members or current boyfriend, Jonathan. 'Everyone thinks Nancy's crying over Jonathan or Steve's death but what if it's because she came home to find Karen & Ted slaughtered and Holly missing? Then what? 😭' said JoshTheMedic on X. 'My prediction is Jonathan will go out in a hero moment with the clash song playing. And obviously that is Nancy crying because of it,' said CinemaGulp. Fans on Reddit have also pointed out that while Steve is a fan-favourite character, his death wouldn't prohibit the rest of the characters from moving on with their lives, meaning the ending could still be considered somewhat happy. 'From my perspective, the main people that will be affected by his death will be Robin and Dustin (obvi maybe even Nancy but she still has Jonathan, Mike, and her entire family). I feel like this would be the death that would least impact the entire group,' said Strangestsalmon. In the trailer, Will can be heard telling someone to 'RUN!' On Twitter, fans have shared 'leaked footage' that supposedly proves Will was talking to Steve, which could further prove that his life is going to be in jeopardy. While this leaked footage may be total nonsense, it is also supported by another fan theory based on a video shared by the creators of the series, the Duffer brothers- which has since been clipped on X. While mapping out a scene with Funk Pop toys, the Duffer brothers showed that the toy depicting Steve was flat on its back and out of the action – could this mean that he's killed off? Metro asked readers on Facebook about their theories, and fans were happy to share their two cents. 'I have a theory but it's just my opinion I think between Steve, Jonathan or 11 might not survive it's just my theory nothing else,' said Michelle Mckenzie. '11, Steve, Hopper, Will, Max will die. In the trailer, Dustin is sobbing into Hoppers chest. If it's all just a D&D game, I'm burning the place down,' said Joni Blanchard. Of course, the Duffer brothers could just go rogue and kill them all, and we know they're not afraid to play with our feelings. More Trending At the end of season four, Max's life was left hanging in the balance, comatose in a hospital after being attacked by Vecna. Things also didn't look good as Vecna's plan came to fruition and the Upside Down was unleashed onto Hawkins. The season ended with the an earthquake of over 7 on the Richter scale tearing the town apart, with the Upside Down leaking into the town. The series is set to be released in November, with more episodes expected to be staggered in their release and follow in the weeks after. The first of the three releases will be on November 26, with the second taking place on December 25, and the final shows released on December 31. Got a story? Simon Cowell 'fronting new talent show' to find next Little Mix
Simon Cowell is searching for 'the next global boy band sensation' in a new Netflix show set to air later this year - and it's thought a girl band follow up won't be too far behind Simon Cowell is reportedly set to front new TV talent shows to find the next big girl and boy bands. The music mogul is already thought to have wrapped filming on a new Netflix show called Simon Cowell: The Next Act, which will follow the 65-year-old record producer as he tries to find "the next global boy band sensation". In the past he has helped launch the careers of huge boy bands like One Direction and Westlife and is hoping to replicate this success again in 2025. The six episode series will air on the streaming giant in December, though it doesn't have a confirmed date yet. And it's reported Simon will follow this up with another brand new talent show - this time to find the next big girl band. While on The X Factor, he catapulted Little Mix to fame and is said to be hoping to find the next budding female pop stars to turn into a global success. A source told The Sun: "There's a huge amount of excitement around the boyband search show dropping on Netflix, which is expected to drop later this year. So it makes sense to consider a sequel with a similar concept but looking for the female equivalent. "And if anyone can do it, it's Simon. After all, through One Direction and Little Mix, he helped deliver two of the biggest pop acts of the last two decades." The follow up is not thought to have been commissioned just yet, as Netflix is said to be unlikely to seal the deal on a second series before the first has aired later this year. But it is thought that Simon has it in the bag. The Mirror has approached Simon's reps for comment. It comes after Simon recently revealed why he wears rose-tinted glasses on set - and it isn't a fashion statement. The Britain's Got Talent judge shared: "I just found out according to the internet, I have a 'mystery illness." He told fans on Instagram: "For anyone concerned, I missed two auditions at the end of one day, two weeks ago, because I do get migraines after long days in the filming lights. PS. This is why I wear these glasses!" So let's hope Simon didn't have to endure too many bright lights filming his latest TV show. Headaches and migraines are frequently mixed up, but migraines specifically describe intense, pulsating pain often concentrated on one side. Typically, this pain can persist anywhere from two hours up to three days. Some people endure migraines multiple times a week, whereas others encounter them less often. Further symptoms may include fatigue, food cravings, mood swings, and increased urination, although these tend to decrease in severity with age. The exact cause of migraines remains uncertain, but known triggers include anxiety, menstruation, unhealthy eating habits, and excessive caffeine intake. TV Doctor Dawn Harper explained: "Migraines classically are one-sided headaches often associated with nausea, quite often actually make you sick. Usually, people feel they have to just lie down in a darkened room. "They don't like the lights and they feel, they really are severe headaches, which last for several hours. And then some poor folk will last for two or three days. A migraine can be very frightening."

Virgin River could be set for bombshell crossover as star of 'similar' drama drops hint
This similar drama is vying for Virgin River's top spot - could a crossover be on the cards soon? Virgin River might potentially merge with another beloved small-town romance series, according to claims from a prominent actress. Drawing inspiration from Robyn Carr's cherished bestselling novels, the Netflix sensation chronicles Mel Monroe (portrayed by Alexandra Breckenridge), a nurse practitioner relocating to a rural community after experiencing heartbreak. Upon arrival, she encounters bar proprietor and ex-Marine Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson), with instant chemistry developing between them. The captivating romance has recently concluded filming for its seventh series, anticipated to premiere on Netflix towards the end of this year or potentially in early 2026. Meanwhile, American audiences have been engrossed in the newest series of Sullivan's Crossing, which follows comparable themes and draws from another book collection by Carr, reports the Mirror US. Given this link, viewers have speculated whether these programmes might intersect, and it seems we now have clarity. Starring Morgan Kohan and Chad Michael Murray, this heartwarming romance unfolds in Nova Scotia, centring on Kohan's character Maggie, a neurosurgeon who reconnects with her father Harry, known as Sully (Scott Patterson), whilst developing feelings for former lawyer California 'Cal' Jones (Murray). In conversation with TechRadar, Kohan revealed she'd enthusiastically embrace the opportunity to collaborate with Mel, Jack and the entire Virgin River cast should circumstances permit. "That would be so fun, why not!" she declared when presented with the concept. Whilst the two towns are regrettably hundreds of miles apart, there's nothing preventing Virgin River and Timberlake from coexisting within the same fictional universe. Indeed, despite Sullivan's Crossing broadcasting on CTV in Canada and The CW in America, much like Virgin River it has also achieved tremendous success on Netflix as its streaming platform in the States. The shows also share producer Roma Roth, who serves as executive producer on Virgin River whilst being the creator and showrunner of Sullivan's. With backing for the Canadian drama gathering momentum as Mel and Jack's love story continues to captivate millions of viewers worldwide, might a special crossover episode be on the cards? from £15 Sky Get the deal here Product Description Regardless, Kohan has pledged numerous surprises heading our way in the freshly commissioned fourth series of Sullivan's Crossing, especially following the bombshell that Maggie remains wed to her ex-lover, Liam (Marcus Rosner). "I hope they can [stay together]," she remarked regarding her relationship with Cal. "They've built such a beautiful foundation, and clearly this is a bit of a bombshell. "I think it will take some trust to build them back up, and maybe a lot of explaining... but they are so good together." As the following for both programmes expands annually, might Netflix deliver a shock of their own by linking the Robyn Carr universe on television? Virgin River is available to stream on Netflix. Sullivan's Crossing airs on CTW and is on Netflix in the US.
