Calvin Harris and Vick Hope announce birth of first child with controversial Instagram post
In a post from Calvin's account, re-shared by Vick, a series of images have been posted showing little Micah snuggled up with his dad, Vick and Micah in a birthing pool, and a jumpscare shot of a placenta.
Calvin captioned the round-up, "20th of July our boy arrived. Micah is here! My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom! Just so grateful. We love you so much Micah ❤️❤️❤️."
As well as the placenta shot, a steamer containing chunks of the placenta was show, along with the organ in its final form: a jar of pills.
Some women choose to have the placenta, an organ that develops during pregnancy to nourish the developing baby, turned into pills following the birth, believing they can help support recovery, energy levels, balance hormones and stave off depression. However, strong scientific evidence of this is lacking and it appears to be mostly anecdotal – but hey, absolutely each to their own!
Commenting on the post, along with plenty of joyful well wishes, fans picked up on the placenta trilogy of pics, with one popular comment reading, "Placenta and placenta pills were not on my bingo card for today but ok".
Another added, "Swiping: "Oh wow!…. That's amazing….. Congratula….. WHAT THE F*CK!?""
Singer Becky Hill also commented, writing, "love to see the placenta!! amazing we grow a whole new organ to provide life! good job not wasting it either, that's some goddess magic right there!"
Congrats to Vick and Calvin!

The Capture Season 3: Release date speculation, cast and plot details – Everything we know so far
By Aman Shukla Published on August 13, 2025, 20:13 IST Alright, The Capture fans, buckle up! The BBC's twisty, turny thriller is coming back for a third season, and the hype is real. If you're obsessed with deepfakes, surveillance conspiracies, and heart-pounding drama like the rest of us, you're probably dying to know what's next for Rachel Carey and the gang. After season two's jaw-dropping finale in 2022, the wait's been brutal, but there's finally some news to chew on. Here's the lowdown on the release date, cast, and plot for The Capture season 3. The Capture Season 3 Release Date Speculation So, when can we expect to binge this gem? Filming's happening right now in the South East of England, kicking off around spring 2025. If we look at how the first two seasons rolled out, it usually takes about a year from cameras rolling to episodes airing. That puts a late 2025 premiere – think September or October – on the table. Some folks are betting on early 2026, though, since production's still in full swing. No official date's been locked in yet, but the BBC's bound to spill the beans soon. Keep your eyes peeled on their socials or BBC iPlayer for updates. Word is, season 3 will stick to the classic six-episode format, each clocking in at an hour. Will it drop all at once on BBC iPlayer for a weekend binge, or go weekly on BBC One? No clue yet, but both have happened before. In the meantime, if you're itching for a refresher, seasons one and two are chilling on Netflix, ready to suck you back into the chaos. The Capture Season 3 Expected Cast Let's talk cast, because The Capture always brings a killer lineup. Holliday Grainger is back as Commander Rachel Carey, and thank goodness for that – she's the heart and soul of this show. Carey's climbed the ranks from DCI to acting head of SO15, and Grainger's been dropping hints that the new scripts are 'absolutely electric.' Expect her to carry the weight of some serious drama. The returning crew includes some heavy hitters: Ben Miles as Danny Hart, still navigating the murky security world. as Danny Hart, still navigating the murky security world. Lia Williams as Gemma Garland, tied to that shady Correction program. as Gemma Garland, tied to that shady Correction program. Ron Perlman as CIA bigshot Frank Napier, stealing scenes as always. as CIA bigshot Frank Napier, stealing scenes as always. Indira Varma as Newsnight host Khadija Khan, asking the tough questions. as Newsnight host Khadija Khan, asking the tough questions. Tessa Wong as DC Chloe Tan. as DC Chloe Tan. Daisy Waterstone as Abigail Carey, Rachel's half-sister. The Capture Season 3 Potential Plot Okay, let's get to the good stuff: what's going down in season 3? It is expected to pick up a year after that wild season two ending, where Carey blew the lid off the intelligence service's secret video-tweaking program, Correction, with a live deepfake of a government bigwig. This time, Carey's not just chasing the truth – she's smack in the middle of the conspiracy. As acting head of SO15, she's pushing a new camera system called Operation Veritas to rebuild trust in surveillance. But then a brutal terror attack hits the British establishment, leaving one lone witness and a whole lot of questions. Carey's digging deeper than ever, and it's pulling her into a massive geopolitical mess. Think tangled webs of politics, security services, and media manipulation. Who's behind it all? With deepfakes muddying the waters and allies dropping like flies, Carey's in for a rough ride. Creator Ben Chanan's calling it a 'zeitgeist thriller,' so expect it to hit hard on hot-button issues like fake news and tech gone wrong. Brace for betrayals, cliffhangers, and moral gray zones that'll leave you shook. Ahmedabad Plane Crash Aman Shukla is a post-graduate in mass communication . Scandi Bob Haircut Inspo Straight From Copenhagen Fashion Week
As far as 2025 goes, the bobs keep on coming and as a bob-having, trend-watching beauty director, I have so enjoyed watching more people become cut converts and embrace the versatile style. While a choppy bob has snuck back into the trends and the shaggy bob sees more Pinterest saves, for me, a blunt bob is the chicest haircut of them all. I cut a chin-grazing blunt bob back in September 2024 and I've never felt more confident. But as the story goes, my hair grew, and slowly the style morphed into a bit of a sad lob. So, you can only imagine how quickly I messaged my hairdresser for a brutal cut when I saw the bobs bobbin' up at Copenhagen Fashion Week. As I skimmed through the images, I noticed they all had the same thing in common: all the bobs spotted outside shows were blunt and mostly chin-grazing. While Scandi blonde highlights have been a key beauty trend that peaks every summer, the Scandi bob is a contender to stick around and transcend seasons. The key to the style is that it's cut blunt, but then styled into a natural texture, and never over-manipulated. It's a style that leans into the Scandinavian style and vibe; it's functional, laid-back, yet still incredibly cool and fashion-forward. The best part is that it makes your hair look voluminous by keeping it all one length. If you have thick hair or fine hair but lots of it (raises hand), it emphasises how full your hair is – so in my books it really does suit everybody. And pairing it with bangs? Yes please. Styling-wise, keep products pared all the way back. To enhance texture on fine hair, scrunch in a little bit of texture or salt spray (we love Oribe's iconic Texture Spray) while your hair is damp and either let it air dry or lightly diffuse. If you have thicker hair, a cream like the JVN Air Dry Cream will do the trick. Poker straight hair? Just a bit of light finishing oil will give hair a glossy shine. TV presenter Jay Blades is due to appear in court charged with rape. West Mercia Police previously said the 55-year-old, who fronted primetime BBC show The Repair Shop, will face a first hearing at Telford Magistrates' Court on Wednesday. Blades faces two allegations of rape but will not be expected to enter pleas during his first appearance. The defendant, of Claverley in Shropshire, found fame on restoration programme The Repair Shop, which he started presenting in 2017. He stepped back from presenting the show last year.
