A behind-the-scenes image showing Wednesday looking distressed has fuelled fan theories, although some have suggested it could be part of a body-swap storyline.
However, both Ortega and Emma Myers, who plays Enid, have dismissed the body-swap theory, with Ortega calling it a 'crime' and Myers saying she prefers to stick to her character.
The final four episodes of the new season of Wednesday are scheduled for release on 3 September.

Fans have "noticed" Kal seems particularly "cold" or "uninterested" in Sarover after taking their connection to the next step and asking her to marry him. One fan said on X: "Kal better not break Sarover's heart! She's a gorgeous girl… he is giving me a bad feeling with her not being his 'type'." Another penned: "You're done - sarover."
