‘Bachelor in Paradise's Sam McKinney and Alli Jo Hinkes Are Dating

Cosmopolitan2 days ago
It's no secret that, thus far, Bachelor in Paradise season 10 has been kind of a letdown. Despite the addition of the Goldens, the beach has been plagued by awkward drama (*ahem* Justin Glaze), but there hasn't really been a stand-out couple to root for—until now. Bachelor in Paradise's Sam McKinney and Alli Jo Hinkes are officially dating, making them one of the first official couples to come out of BiP season 10. Kinda.
Here's the thing: Despite both appearing on Bachelor in Paradise this summer, Sam and Alli Jo didn't get together on the show. In fact, they didn't even overlap in Paradise at all. Sam arrived in Costa Rica on Day 1 of BiP season 10 only to be sent right back home at the first rose ceremony. Alli Jo's journey in Paradise was equally short—she arrived Week 2 and went home that very same week.
They both left BiP single, but obviously, they didn't stay that way for long! Sam and Alli Jo publicly announced their romance on Instagram Tuesday, July 29, in a joint post. 'Sometimes... You gotta do it your damn self,' Sam captioned the carousel of photos, which showed the couple engaging in some pretty serious PDA. 'Be a force and #StayRelentless.'
Alli Jo got even more pointed, commenting, 'Didn't need a beach to find my paradise ❤️ main thing energy baby!'
It's unclear when, exactly, this romance began. Were they in a hotel together prior to (or after) filming? Was this just another case of the insulated Bachelor Nation social scene working its magic? We don't know yet, but whatever happened, it looks like they have their fellow Bachelor alums' support.
'It happened?!?!?!' BiP host Jesse Palmer commented on the post, followed by three heart eye emojis. Fellow BiP season 10 alum Kathy Swarts then joked, 'If you want something done the right way, do it yourself 😂😍.'
Bachelor alum Susie Evans, who had a short (but dramatic) run on BiP herself this season, added, 'Crying in the club over here 🫶 love this for y'all.' And Juliana Pasquarosa, who appeared on Grant Ellis' Bachelor season alongside Alli Jo, also weighed in. 'The main thing is officially the main thing bb,' she wrote.
Happy for you two!

Theory: Taylor Swift's Secret Cameo In Happy Gilmore 2

As you may know, Happy Gilmore 2 finally hit our screens last week, and it is jam-packed with celebrity cameos — in fact, Screen Rant estimated that there are at least 72 surprise appearances in the movie's 114-minute runtime. These cameos range from Eminem to Haley Joel Osment, and even Adam Sandler's wife, Jackie Sandler, puts in a guest appearance. But for Taylor Swift fans, there is one specific Happy Gilmore 2 cameo that they are most invested in, and that is her boyfriend Travis Kelce's brief but incredibly memorable role as 'The Waiter,' who faces the wrath of Bad Bunny's character, Oscar, after he fires him over a minor slip-up. This leads to Oscar fantasizing about getting his revenge, and in a dreamlike sequence, Travis is tied to a post, shirtless, and then slathered with honey before a bear approaches and attacks him. Earlier this week, Netflix posted a short behind-the-scenes video that showed this sequence being filmed, and off the back of it, some Swifties have become convinced that Taylor also had a top-secret role in the movie as… The bear who attacks Travis. For reference, Taylor does have previous when it comes to dressing up as a bear: And when she promoted Happy Gilmore 2 on her Instagram story amid its release, she included a telltale honeypot emoji: Netflix themselves added fuel to the fire when they replied to an Instagram comment that read: 'They should've dressed Taylor as a bear for an epic surprise' with '👀.' Somebody else commented on the post: 'From the moment I saw it, I knew Tay was the bear 😉,' and another echoed: 'You just know Taylor is the bear.''Taylor is definitely in the suit,' one more added, and everyone was saying the same thing over on TikTok, too.'Was Taylor the bear 😭' one person asked, and even the official Betty Crocker TikTok page got involved as they commented: 'Is Taylor the bear??? 🍯'And another insisted: 'Everybody knows it was Taylor the bear.' Despite the Swifties' confidence, Adam did previously say that he didn't ask Taylor to cameo in the film, telling Extra: "We didn't want to bother Taylor. Just let Taylor entertain the world like she does.' And it's also worth noting that stunt actor Brandon Alan Smith is credited as 'Bear Performer' on Happy Gilmore 2's IMDB page… But hey, maybe that's just what they want us to believe... Does Kim Kardashian's Skims Face Shapewear Actually Work? Doctors Weigh In

Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Kim Kardashian's new SKIMS shapewear has already sold out online, but doctors suggest people are wasting their money. Newsweek contacted SKIMS for comment on Friday via email outside regular working hours. The Context The reality TV star and business couple Jens and Emma Grede launched SKIMS in 2019 to create more shapewear options and inclusivity. Sizes range from XXS through XXXXXL. In 2022, it was featured on the Time 100 Most Influential Companies list. "It started off with simply finding shapewear that was a skin tone that would match my color," Kardashian told Time in a 2023 interview about the brand's birth. "I used to take my shapewear and dye it with tea bags and coffee in the bathtub." What To Know On Tuesday, SKIMS revealed a new shapewear product called the "Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap." According to SKIMS website, the wrap is their "first-ever face innovation." "This must-have face wrap boasts our signature sculpting fabric and features collagen yarns for ultra-soft jaw support," the product description states. "Velcro closures at the top and nape of the neck allow for easy, everyday wear." The wrap retails for $48 and comes in two colors: clay and cocoa. It is sold out online at time of writing. Kim Kardashian celebrates the launch of SKIMS at Nordstrom NYC on February 5, 2020 in New York City. Kim Kardashian celebrates the launch of SKIMS at Nordstrom NYC on February 5, 2020 in New York Nordstrom Boston facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Spiegel—who boasts 38,800 followers on TikTok and an additional 35,300 on Instagram—said the new item is "just clever marketing" and "won't tighten your skin, stimulate collagen, or create lasting changes to your face." "I'm afraid KK [Kim Kardashian], you're going to lose a lot of credibility on this one," he said in a video posted to social media. "If you have collagen yarns, what does that mean? It's not going through your skin." In the caption of the clip, Dr. Spiegel added that "real collagen stimulation comes from proven treatments like lasers, microneedling, and injectables—not from wearing a piece of fabric." "Don't fall for the hype," he warned. Dr. Naomi McCullum, an Australian cosmetic practitioner and owner of The Manse clinics, agreed. "These face wraps are almost identical to post-surgical garments used for neck liposuction and neck lifts," she told Elle Australia in an article published on Thursday. "In terms of function, I really can't see any skin benefits from collagen yarns sitting on top of the skin—and these seem to be a combination of synthetic fabrics—and you can't get a slimmer jawline with simple compression." What People Are Saying Anthony Hopkins, seemingly reprising his role as Hannibal Lecter, had nothing but positive things to say about the wrap, in a video posted to Instagram this week: "Hello Kim, I'm already feeling 10 years younger." What Happens Next It's unclear if the Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap will be restocked online.

John Stamos replaces Josh Gad in Jesus Christ Superstar

John Stamos will replace Josh Gad in Jesus Christ Superstar. The Full House actor has stepped in to play King Herod in the live production at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles over the weekend after the Frozen star pulled out with COVID-19, and he has hailed the role a "dream" but also "a little insane" because he has had so little time to prepare. John wrote on Instagram: "Well… this weekend just got Biblical. I'm stepping in as King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar at the @HollywoodBowl, starring the brilliant @cynthiaerivo . King @Joshgad unexpectedly got hit with COVID (feel better soon, brother!)and while I didn't push him down the stairs, I am grateful for the chance to step into the gold lamé. "This is an honor. A dream. And also a little insane because… I just stepped off a plane from @thebeachboys tour in Spain and have less than 24 hours to pull this off. Wish me luck. And let's rock the Bowl.(sic)" Cynthia Erivo, who plays Jesus, is "really excited" to work with John. She shared his post on her Instagram Story and wrote: "You are missed @JoshGad and thank you @JohnStamos for stepping in on such short notice. I'm really excited to see you.(sic)" Josh had shared his devastation on Wednesday (30.07.25) that he would no longer be performing in the musical extravaganza. He wrote on his own Instagram account: 'It is with enormous heartbreak that I inform you all that unfortunately, I have contracted a virus known as COVID (remember that one little b****** from season one of 'earth really sucks right now?'? "Anyway, out of an abundance of caution and respect for my cast, I will not be performing in Jesus Christ Superstar this weekend (unless I test negative). 'It truly breaks my heart, but I can assure you all that this is going to be one of the greatest things you will ever see. 'I hope at some point you get to see me wear the crown and show you what we've been up to, because it was quite something, but for now, sadly, I will not be able to grace the Hollywood Bowl.(sic)" The Hollywood Bowl reshared Josh's statement and wished the Frozen actor a "speedy recovery".
