Paresh Rawal Says Aamir Khan Was 'Methodical' In Andaz Apna Apna: 'Salman Toh Haste Khelte Ayega Aur...'

Paresh Rawal reminisced about filming the 1994 comedy Andaz Apna Apna with Aamir and Salman Khan.
In a recent interview with Radio Nasha Official, veteran actor Paresh Rawal revisited his time on the sets of the 1994 cult comedy Andaz Apna Apna. Known for his dual role as Ram Gopal Bajaj and his twin Teja, Paresh shared his experience of working alongside Aamir Khan and Salman Khan. He also spoke about how the experience of filming this iconic movie felt unique compared to his other comedic roles.
Paresh Rawal said Aamir Khan and Salman Khan worked in very different ways. Salman was relaxed and fun on set, while Aamir was serious and liked to plan everything in detail. He recalled, 'Salman's own charm and charisma is so powerful. He was like a breeze. But, with Aamir, his way of working is methodical. Salman toh hasste khelte aayega aur karlega, Aamir has to know everything. So, kabhi kabhi lagta tha ki thoda toh kahin par manufacture kia hua lagta hai. But, when you see his final impact, it's amazing."
Paresh Rawal said that while shooting comedy films, actors usually don't laugh at their own scenes. Even with Hera Pheri, they didn't realise how funny it was during filming. 'I am really fortunate and lucky that Raj (Rajkumar Santoshi) gave me this film (Andaz Apna Apna). When you do a comedy film, you don't laugh while shooting. Many people say Hera Pheri was so funny but we didn't even know. But this (Andaz Apna Apna) is the only film in which we were having fun even while making it. The way our director was explaining every scene, we used to have a lot of fun and we knew deep down that it's funny."
A week after Sikandar's release, Salman Khan announced the re-release of his cult Bollywood comedy film, Andaz Apna Apna. Co-starring Aamir Khan, the 1994 film is a fan favourite for its comic timing, performances and cast. Andaz Apna Apna is re-releasing on April 25.

The Bengal Files teaser: Vivek Agnihotri's final film in the Files trilogy has Anupam Kher playing Gandhi, and Mithun Chakraborty as a madman, watch
Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has released the teaser for his upcoming film, The Bengal Files, the concluding chapter in his trilogy following The Tashkent Files and The Kashmir Files. The teaser opens with a haunting voiceover from a Kashmiri Pandit character, warning that Bengal is on the verge of becoming 'another Kashmir.' What follows is a montage of violent imagery: bloodied faces, armed men, and a woman's scream piercing through the chaos. By the end, a stark message appears on screen —'If Kashmir hurt you, Bengal will haunt you.' Shared post on Time Also Read | Vivek Agnihotri says Chak De! would have flopped with John Abraham, Dhan Dhana Goal with Shah Rukh Khan would've worked: 'Why I quit Bollywood' The film introduces a huge ensemble cast. Darshan Kumaar plays Shiva Pandit, Mithun Chakraborty appears as a Madman, Anupam Kher portrays Gandhi, and Pallavi Joshi takes on the role of Maa Bharati. Actors Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Saswata Chatterjee also make brief but notable appearances. Produced by Abhishek Agarwal and Pallavi Joshi, The Bengal Files explores what Agnihotri calls the 'right to life'—a thematic continuation of his previous films, which centred on the right to truth (The Tashkent Files) and the right to justice (The Kashmir Files). He has described this final chapter as 'an experience in history' that interrogates India's identity amid cultural and political conflict, with a particular focus on Bengal's overlooked narratives. Originally titled The Delhi Files: Bengal Chapter, the film was recently renamed The Bengal Files, and is set to explore the fundamental question: What is India? An earlier teaser featured Mithun Chakraborty solemnly reading the Preamble to the Indian Constitution. Agnihotri's past films have sparked intense debate and polarized public opinion, yet achieved commercial success. With The Bengal Files slated for release on September 5, anticipation, and scrutiny, is once again mounting.

Aamir Khan, SRK, Ranbir's CA reveals who's got the sharpest financial brain. It is an actress
Bimal Parekh with Ranbir Kapoor. (Pic courtesy- ISL- Indian Super League FB) About Bimal Parekh Behind every Bollywood blockbuster and superstar paycheck, there's a quiet powerhouse who makes sure the numbers add up — and for over four decades, that man has been Bimal Parekh . Known as the financial brain behind stars like Aamir Khan Katrina Kaif , and Ranbir Kapoor , Parekh isn't just a chartered accountant — he's the industry's go-to financial whisperer. But when it comes to sharp money minds, the celebrity he rates the highest is one of the top actresses of the industry. Can you guess who?In a recent chat with The Hollywood Reporter, Parekh revealed that among all his high-profile clients, it's Katrina Kaif who has the keenest financial acumen. According to him, the Ek Tha Tiger actress takes an interest, noting that while actors like Aamir and Ranbir Kapoor are less "bothered" in the day-to-day money matters, Katrina stays hands-on. Parekh also praised Ritesh Sidhwani and The Family Man's Krishna DK (of the Raj & DK duo), calling them financially savvy as journey began in the mid-1980s at a CA firm that managed the accounts of legends like Zeenat Aman and B.R. Chopra. When he branched out on his own, his boss handed him two key clients: Zeenat and a young debutant named Aamir Khan. That single handoff would mark the beginning of one of the most trusted relationships in the film industry. As Aamir gained stardom, so did Parekh's client list — with Juhi Chawla, Farhan Akhtar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ashutosh Gowariker, and even Shah Rukh Khan eventually coming on guided the finances of not just individual stars but entire production powerhouses like Excel Entertainment, Tiger Baby, Bhansali Productions, and more, Parekh has helped redefine how Bollywood approaches business. He revealed that he and his team pioneered the now-famous backend profit-sharing model in Bollywood, first experimenting with Aamir Khan's films. Rather than charging an upfront fee, Aamir opted for a share in the profits — a move that paid off massively during Dangal and ensured Laal Singh Chaddha didn't leave its studio in the red, even if Aamir himself earned less. He is now a name revered across the corridors of Bollywood's elite.
