In terms of design, the model is quite different from the other offerings in the market. While the side profile is on the flatter side with minimal lines and creases, it gets a sharp, raked front apron that gives it an aggressive look. It features a rectangular LED headlamp, a sleek vertical LED DRL strip, and a 4.2-inch fully digital display that supports smartphone connectivity.
Powering the electric scooter is a 3.07 kWh LFP battery paired with a 4.1 kW electric motor. This setup delivers a peak power output of 5.5 bhp and 15 Nm of torque, enabling the scooter to reach a top speed of 71 kmph. Suzuki claims a maximum range of 95 km on a single charge.

include a standard portable charger that takes about 6 hours and 42 minutes for a full charge, and a DC fast charger that cuts that time down significantly: to just 2 hours and 12 minutes for 100%. As for features, it offers a keyless ignition, USB charging port, four riding modes: Eco, Ride A, Ride B, and a Reverse mode. Other highlights include regenerative braking, and combined braking system.
In terms of size, the e-Access measures 1860 mm in length, 715 mm in width, and 1135 mm in height, with a 1305 mm wheelbase and a seat height of 765 mm. Ground clearance stands at 160 mm. Suspension duties are carried out by telescopic front fork and monoshock suspension setup at the rear. It rides on 12-inch wheels at both ends, with braking handled by a disc up front and a drum at the rear.
While the official price announced is yet to take place, our expectations place the e-Access in the Rs 95,000 – 1.10 lakh, ex-showroom, bracket.

Lapses in Haryana's e-tenders spark probe by urban local bodies
The department of Urban Local Bodies (ULB), Haryana, has launched a wide-ranging inquiry into procedural lapses in the state's e-Tenders Haryana procurement system, following a scathing audit by the principal accountant general (audit), Haryana. The audit flagged significant irregularities in sanitation and solid waste management contracts awarded between 2018-19 and 2022-23, officials said, adding that eight contractors and four tenders have been affected. In a memo dated June 3, the ULB directed all municipal commissioners and district municipal commissioners to submit detailed clarifications and corrective actions taken on the flagged discrepancies. The deadline for submission is one week. 'A consolidated and comprehensive response is essential to address the audit observations made by the Principal Accountant General. Any procedural lapses that compromise transparency and fairness in public procurement will be dealt with firmly,' said a senior ULB official, requesting anonymity. According to the audit report, three major areas of concern have emerged. First, several tenders were cancelled despite valid and competitive lowest (L-1) bids. These include Tender IDs 2022_HRY_231151_1 and 2022_HRY_231157_1 (related to Manesar Division I and II) and 2022_HRY_218507_1 (pertaining to the Integrated Solid Waste Management project for the Panchkula Cluster). Additionally, tenders for dumpsite remediation in Sector 23, Panchkula—IDs 2022_HRY_251382_1 and 2022_HRY_231622_3—were also cancelled without documented justification. Second, the report noted that certain tenders allowed insufficient time for bid submission, potentially restricting fair competition. This was observed in tenders related to mini tippers with hoppers, among others. Third, the audit pointed to inadequate time provided for bidder representation during technical evaluation stages—critical for fair assessment of eligibility and capacity. This was flagged in tenders related to door-to-door waste collection in Division-II, Manesar, and again in the Panchkula remediation tenders. Beyond these specific issues, the audit cited systemic non-compliance with mandatory timelines and disclosure norms. Key project details and evaluation outcomes were either delayed or not uploaded on the public procurement portal, undermining transparency.

Sebi introduces new guidelines for MF nomination process: What investors need to know
To simplify and safeguard the nomination process in a mutual fund, markets regulator Sebi has come up with more operational guidelines. The move will lead to certain changes in the coming months. WHAT IS NOMINATION IN A MUTUAL FUND? WHY IS IT IMPORTANT? Nomination is the process of appointing a person to take care of your assets in the event of your death. Regulatory guidelines make it mandatory for new folios/accounts opened by an individual in a single name to make a nomination. In case investors do not wish to nominate, they need to confirm the same in the application form. Nomination makes transmission easy for the heirs in the event of the unitholder's death. However, in the absence of a nominee, the heirs/claimants will have to produce a host of documents like a will, legal heir certificate, no-objection certificate from other legal heirs etc., to get the units transferred in his/her name WHAT ADDITIONAL THINGS DOES ONE HAVE TO MENTION IN THE NEW NOMINATION FORMS THAT WILL BE IN EFFECT FROM JUNE 1? In addition to the above they have to provide one of the following identity details, namely PAN, driving licence, last 4 digits of Aadhaar or passport number. If the details are incomplete there could be delays or rejections due to NIGO—not in good order—and the form could be rejected. Investors have to merely provide these details in the form and no proof of any documents is required while making these nominations. Investors can also opt out of the nomination by using the relevant form and there is no change in that form. In addition, an investor can also authorise one of the nominees to operate the account on his behalf, in case of incapacitation, and authorise the nominee to encash his assets up to a specified percentage from this account or folio. You can add 3 nominees up to August 31, 2025. And from September 1, 2025 you can add up to 10 nominees in a folio. HOW CAN YOU MAKE A NOMINATION IN YOUR MUTUAL FUND FOLIO? Completion of the nomination is simple and can be done online through RTA (registrar and transfer agent) websites or fund house websites. For those not keen to do it online, one can use a relevant physical form, sign it and send it to the fund house. In case the mobile numbers or email IDs of the second holder are not updated with the fund house, the online process will not work and investors may have to do it by filling a form only.

Hagawanes in magisterial custody remand till June 16
1 2 Pune: The court of judicial magistrate first class Amol Shinde on Tuesday extended the custodial remand till June 7 of Nilesh Chavan, business associate of Shashank Hagawane and co-accused in the dowry death case of Vaishnavi Hagawane. The court sent Vaishnavi's father-in-law Rajendra Hagawane and brother-in-law to magisterial custody remand till June 16. They were later sent to the Yerawada Central Jail. Bavdhan police's senior inspector Anil Vibhute produced Chavan and the Hagawanes before the court following the end of their initial custodial remand. Vibhute filed a remand report to extend Chavan's custodial remand by five days and sought magisterial custody for Hagawanes. Assistant public prosecutor Nitin Adagale told the court that the custodial interrogation of Chavan was essential because the police recovered a firearm licence, revolver and two cellphones of Vaishnavi's mother-in-law Lata and Shashank's sister Karishma from him. Adagale argued that investigations revealed Chavan's involvement in a criminal conspiracy along with the other co-accused and sought time to find out if he mistreated Vaishnavi's nine-month-old boy and why had he forcibly taken possession of the child. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Descubra ofertas de voos imperdíveis Voos | Anúncios de Pesquisa Saiba Mais Undo The prosecution said Chavan was communicating with the other co-accused over the phone and sought time to examine their call records and collect details of financial transactions done by them, if any, for the purpose of collecting evidence. The prosecutor relied on the statement of witnesses stating that Chavan abetted the victim's suicide in the case and prayed that sufficient time be given to the police for detailed investigations. Defence lawyer Swanand Govindwar opposed the prosecution's plea on the grounds that the court had given enough time for Chavan's questioning and his custodial interrogation was not essential. The court upheld the prosecution's plea on the grounds that there was sufficient progress in the investigations. Vaishnavi's husband, mother-in-law arrested in cheating case MIDC Mhalunge police on Tuesday secured the custody of Vaishnavi Hagawane's husband Shashank and mother-in-law Lata from the Yerawada Central Jail and arrested them for duping a farmer to the tune of Rs11.7 lakh in a case relating to an excavation machine transaction since March 20, 2022. Khed court judicial magistrate first class JB Mhaske sent the duo to police custody remand for three days. Farmer Prashant Yelwande (33), a resident of Nighoje village in Khed, registered a complaint with the police on May 29 stating that he had purchased an excavation machine in Lata's name for Rs11.7 lakh through a recovery agent and was paying EMI of Rs 50,000 per month to Shashank. However, instead of depositing the money in the bank, Shashank colluded with the agent and got the machine seized from Yelwande's possession and duped him. Later, Shashank refused to return the machine or repay the EMI paid by Yelwande and allegedly threatened him with a gun.
